Easy assembly with extra hardware. Comfortable and not too wobbly when at height. Rolls easily on hard surface but not so well even on short nap carpet. Seems rather light weight but was not that expensive. Main real complaint is with the lift cylinder. Poorly pressurized and has about 2 inches of slack when you sit on it. 5/2/2005 update. Received replacement lift cylinder today. Replacement quick and easy. Problem solved. Seller wanted to quickly and fairly resolve. Very high marks!

I work at a high table, and a simple bar stool just wasn't supportive enough―I often found my back hurting after long periods of sitting. After reading the reviews and liking what I saw, I decided to give this chair a try. Assembly was a breeze, thanks to the clear visual instructions and included tools. It's incredibly comfortable, and with its adjustable height, it perfectly accommodates my tall table or bar.

Very nice chair and easy assembly. I did it myself in less than 20 to 30 minutes. The height is perfect and was exactly what I was looking for. The seat is a nice soft foam and is actually very comfortable. I like the fact that it has the adjustable foot stand. The only reason I gave it a four is it would be much better if the arms folded up in the event that your desk height didn't fit the chair as is. Mine does luckily however I do find on occasion I would prefer to have the arms up and out of my way for what I am doing at my desk. All in all it was a great value for the money, easy to put together, serves the purpose and is quite comfortable. I would recommend.EDIT- Changed ftom 4-5 stars. The arms DO fold up if needed! I thought they were stationary, but they were just stiff from being brand new. Great chair I've used it for a while and it's very comfortable, love it

I absolutely love this drafting chair! It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm 6'3" - my weight = 290 lbs. and I have an elevated desk. This chair is the very best of any of the previous 4 drafting chairs I have purchased. Quality is best described as way above average. Amazing great cushion and respectful lumbar support. It should be noted that the back of the chair is NOT adjustable forward or backward, however the back offers ample good lumbar support (very cushioned and more comfortable than a mesh back). I chose to add 3" LPHY Office Chair Wheels to it just to make the rolling both on desk mat and on carpet optimal. I ALSO RECOMMEND this chair for guitar playing because the arms fold back (providing freedom to maneuver and chair provides a great foot wrest for either foot). I love it.
