Item rusted at all joints within 6 weeks of assembly, sharp edges. Not very sturdy, even for a 60lb child and a serious safety hazard. Target plus would not refund me, ended up hiring someone to take it away to avoid further injuries :(. Waste of money!

It was easy to assemble. We have an extra long hammock. The hammock works with this stand, but it would be nice if there were extra inserts to extend the height on both ends, so the drag to the ground was lessened. But we’re happy to have finally found a stand that actually works! Our hammock had been stored away for 20 years, because every other stand we purchased in the past was too short.
