The item is listed as white but it's more of an antique/cream color. Only reason I can't give it a 5. They slide very easy so we are getting rubber glides to put on them to keep them from moving so easily. They sit very comfortably.

I really like how well these match the farmhouse style in our home. They were easy enough to assemble on my own. They support a lot of weight easily and fit well along my counter. They come with the already brushed effect on the back. Warm wood is back in style so the seats fit nicely with our updated kitchen.

The stools are very aesthetically please and go well with a farmhouse decor. The swivel detail is nice but when a normal sized person was sitting on the stool in the swiveled position tried to get up, there was a loud snap. We realized the snap was the seat splitting down the middle. The chair is in a weakened position and easily breaks if it is turned to the side, apparently. My daughter has only had the stools a little over a month and barely uses them. Did t last long at all!

These were the hardest product to put together. The instructions were not helpful in the slightest. Put the spindle on the legs first then attach to the base. I found this to be the easiest way. Good looking chairs that seem sturdy when built.

So far very sturdy and they swivel with out any noise .The Splits and imperfections I'm learning to live with. I haven't had to Re Screw any of the chairs so far although it's only my weight but I think I made a Great Choice!

I weigh 190-lbs and the wood just snapped. We still like the stools but the wood is not very strong.

I loved these stools when they first arrived and got lots of compliments. I ordered 8 stools just over a year ago and currently have 2 that aren't broken. The quality is terrible and the legs break right at the supports. Do not buy these if you want something that lasts.
