Dimensions are misleading
You get what you pay for with this desk. It's wobbly. The materials are far lesser quality than Ikea. But what is perhaps the most frustrating is that this "corner" desk is not square. When backed into a corner the back edges of the desk meet the wall but the sides flare out from the wall, losing a couple of inches of desk space. The center pillar is also not constructed at a 90 degree angle. So although the shelf beneath measures 17.5" wide on the front side (and 11" deep) giving the appearance it would fit a desktop CPU, the back edge of the shelf measures only 14.5" wide. Meaning my CPU which is 15.5"x8" does not fit and requires an additional table to sit on because there's no space behind the monitor to set it. So much for space saving.
