Don't waste your money

I bought this mainly for smoothies, however the book that comes with it says it should not be used for frozen food and/or ice, it also says that when using, not to run longer than 2 minutes and it needs to rest for 5 minutes before using again, I have only used it to puree canned food and I added some liquid to it so it didn't get to thick, it didn't puree boiled potatoes to a smooth texture, even with butter and milk, I thought about using it for pasta sauce, but I would have to rest too much and I think the tomatoes would stain it, I'm not happy with it
