Cuisinart 7 Cup Food Processor FP-7AG

Nice unit, functions well, our previous FP was a Cuisinart and it lasted 40 years until some the plastic parts became brittle.

I had trouble determining which side of the blade to use to shred or slice.

Love, love, love! Cuisinart is my “go to” brand for all my kitchen appliances, the name alone says reputation. All my Cuisinart appliances have stood the test of time, they do not fail me after a few months. Cuisinart appliances are fairly priced and have a great selection for all my kitchen needs. I love my new food processor, it does everything I need it to do and I got it at a great price!

I bought this for work: within a month the bowl processing bowl became unusable. A tiny square piece of plastic on the underside of the bowl apparently cracked off. Now there is no mechanism to actuate the motor. Awful design. And there seems to be very little ways to purchase a new bowl for the machine. You made the entire product dependent on a flimsy 1/4 “ piece of plastic. 1/10 roundly recommended to anyone who cooks seriously.

My old Cuisinart food processor lasted for 15 years and could still probably take on another decade if the blades hadn't dulled. My new processor is just as wonderful as its predecessor, except now there is a caddy for the blades and the lid closure is updated. Also, the cookbook has more fun recipes.

Perfect for my small kitchen. Simple to use. Great for slicing or dicing vegetables. I use it to shred Parmesan cheese and to make pesto. The pieces are top-rack dishwasher safe and store inside the bowl.

I just bought this. Sadly, my husband tossed the box because now I'm stuck with a flimsy piece of junk. Every year I make coconut candy for Easter. Last year, the bowl broke again on my 40 year old unit. I made the candy with a box grater. My knuckles were skinned. I bought this model because it got great reviews. Maybe I got a dud because this thing rocked despite my putting one sliver at a time down the feed tube. It didn't even grate it properly, a slice of coconut just flopped around on top of the disc and larger chunks of coconut found its way into the bowl with the grated stuff. I am sure the lip of the lid is going to break after a few uses because it's not sturdy. Horrible design. I am so mad that I bought this thing. I should have sacrificed my knuckles. It would have been less frustrating.

I haven’t used my new Cuisinart Food Processor yet but can’t wait for the occasion!

Got this brand new out of the box and it wouldn't turn on. Come to find out that a millimeter sized piece of place broke off the bowl stopping it from turning on. Slices, chops, and shreds faster and more efficiently than a KitchenAid

I love to cook and bake, so a good processor is essential. When my 30 plus year old Cuisinart food processor died recently, I needed to replace it immediately. After comparing Cuisinart to another available brand, I chose the Cuisinart because the reviews highlighted durability and that was my experience.

This machine works great and does so many things my ancient food processor did not do. I am so happy to be able to use a large and powerful machine.

This was a machine which I wanted for a while. Its such a smooth working machine and has made prep so easy.

I had a quisinart processor 40 years ago and it was a slayer. I primarily used it for shredding cheddar cheese and it performed perfectly. Eventually the plastic bowl cover deteriorated to the point that i had to replace the whole assembly so i decided to again go with a 7 cup quisinart. I tried using each shredder blade and found that i had to exert a lot of downward force on the feed to the point that i was distorting the shredder blade and overloading the motor. As a cheese shredder i have been singularly unimpressed with its performance.

Excellent small appliance every kitchen needs. I use this all the time for quick mixing to shredding cheese. You won't be disappointed! It also is designed great for storage

OMG! If you are on your own, this food processor is a dream!!! Easy to assemble and disassemble. Afterward, pop into top shelf of dishwasher. I only used it the first time and cannot wait to try out some nw recipes. Cuisinart, thank you for this new simpler model!

I love my new food processor! I was tired of buying shredded cheese and seeing how that cheese looked. I wanted a healthier cheese without anything added to it so it won’t stick together! When I made Cheese Rings and Sausage Balls they tasted and looked so much better! I would recommend everyone do this instead of buying the bag of cheese!

Food processor motor did not work. Had to be returned.

This broke on the second use because of a flimsy piece of plastic in the locking mechanism. I'm currently trying to fight for a refund but they want to replace the broken parts - ones which would likely break again according to my mechanic friend who took a look at the product.

I’m enjoying my new food processor. Light weight and easy to remove from a lower cabinet. My previous one was so heavy. The bowl size is great for shredded vegetables. I even made pistachio butter in no time. I just wish the chute was a bit bigger.
