Wish there were a few more accessories available and I would buy them. My old DLC 7 is 45 years old and now belongs to a good friend of mine. Still going strong!

The upgrade in size and power is an easy one to praise. But it is the noise reduction, redesign of the power cord storage, and solving the "I take out my blade and stuff falls through to the counter" solutions that just make us smile every time. Thrilled with the upgrade.

My new 14 cup food processor has sharp blades that work great, is quiet, well made and rocking my house. It replaced my old 11 cup from about 20 years ago. My hope is that this one lasts as long as my last one. Thank You!

This is the second Cuisinart I’ve owned since 1980. They are well built and will last forever especially if you take care of them. This one is a step up from my original one although it still works and my son has it now. I like how easy it is to use and really like the storage part. This model is a bit pricey but I don’t mind paying for quality. It’s a little different than my original model, I feel the upgrades were well thought out. It looks great on my counter, very sleek. I would definitely recommend this model.

I purchased my first Cuisinart food processor in my late 20's. i am current 77. This is mt 3rd Cuisinart food processor . They last forever! The 14 cup is great as it has multi purpose uses.

As soon as you pick up the box you know this is a solid, well built machine. Casing and plastic thick, motor very powerful and controls easy to read and manipulate.

After twenty years of faithful service, the motor in my Cuisnart food processor died. I did not hesitate to replace with the updated version of my older model, the 14 cup food processor. I love the new model as it is simple to use and easy to clean.

So far, it's been doing its job but i need more practice on grating mozzarella cheese. Giving 4 stars because with the large feed tube, I wish i didn't have to close the lid (the small one with metal handle), it needs to touch the other part in order to start processing. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a large tube and still have to cut veggies, cheese, etc. so it fits lenghtwise.

Plenty of room and power to make 2 pie crusts in one batch! Adjustable slicer is great for pickled daikon. Don't put it in the dishwasher though. Cascade, even the gel version, contains abrasives that will sandblast that nice clear bowl into a cloudy mess. Green 3M scotchbrite sponges will scratch it too, use the blue ones. Be sure to hold the handle when removing the blade per the manual.

I like how it's versatile. It can chop and mix food nicely and quickly. I also like how you can store all the accessory discs and blades inside the bowl which saves space. This is a great kitchen gadget. I highly recommend it.

It has a blade that's serrated on one side, a grating blade and a shredding blade. It;s very quick and does a very even job. It's easy to clean and I like that it has a storage basket to store everything inside the bowl. The only thing I would chsange is to move the feeder to the front of the machine, Other than that, it's perfect.

What I like about it: 1) Its container is very roomy and holds twice as much as my old food processor. 2) The blade height is adjustable, allowing you to slice vegetables or fruits thicker or thinner. I was able to shred cabbage very thinly and quickly with it. My old food processor didn't have this option. 3) Narrow vegetables and fruits can also be cut into beautiful slices. 4) This processor is half as quiet as my previous processor. There is one small drawback to this processor: my husband and I took a while to get it working for the first time, and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. This was a bit stressful, but we later figured out the cause. The vegetable pusher needs to be inserted into a special slot. This is also a difference, but this time it's in my old food processor's favor, since before, I didn't have to worry about getting the food into the groove. Despite this minor drawback, it does a great job.

We go through a lot of cheese in our home, this shreds a block of cheese in literally 2 seconds with 2 size options, thin and standard. It chops, mixes, shreds and makes bread allowing us to get rid of other kitchen gadgets. I knocked off one star because it is very picky, making sure each piece is connected just right before it will work. Also, food gets up in the nook and lid making it tricky to clean out. Not a deal breaker.
