Light duty. Not for heavy duty use.
I needed to shred rutabagas for fermenting and the blade seemed to be too flimsy. It bent down as I pushed the food through the shoot. There is a significant gap between the lid and the shredding blade leaving a lot of unshredded food stuck between them. I plan to return it for a heavier duty model. Would probably work well for less heavy duty use.

Don’t Waste your money
Terrible. Not big enough to make potatoes Tried a Carrot just to see how it was shredding, and tons of it got stuck in the handle and no matter what I did… I could barely get it out. I tried Chopstix ToothPics, you name it! I was afraid to put cheese in it, so I just took it back. Don’t Waste your money

Used once and it starting smoking like it was about catch on fire. Was only shredding cheese, smelled like plastic burning and then started smoking. So disappointing. I was tired of shredding cheese by hand with cheese grater and was hoping this would make it easier. I have one star because it was on sale and available same day so I could use for my Easter Sunday cooking. If you buy, beware. I’m returning in the morning.

Could barely get it out of the box
I bought this strictly to shred cheese. I have arthritis in my hands. They are strong, but have pain, so manually grating cheese was difficult for large-batch food prep. The packaging for this was ridiculous. I couldn't get the base out of the box, can't imagine somebody with weaker hands doing it. Ultimately I had to rip up the cardboard to get it out! Very annoying.

This sucks. every time I used it you can smell hot wires smell. the gap between the shredding blade and lid is pretty significant so you have a chunk of food that doesnt get cut up. it has a weird gap next to the feeding tube that allows food to build up in it. the manual side scraper is find but the top handle collects water in it...so weird water will leak into your food if youre not mildful of that. The handle of the bowl also gathers moisture inside it. All these are items to point out because ive had a pervious years model (purchased in 2019) that had NONE of these issues even after years of use.

Nice big food processor!
Works great. I made chocolate hummus in it. Can't use it for coffee beans or cacao nubs but I have a coffee grinder for those. Since it's so big, if you are doing a small amount the blade is over your ingredients and doesn't work, so don't get rid of your mini chopper until you check this out. It's super easy to put together and everything goes in the dishwasher. I especially love the bowl scraper that allows you to mix without stopping the processorand taking off the lid. Usually this scraper is only found in much higher priced models. Very happy with this purchase!

Lasted less than a month and I can't get a return or a refund
I really regret this purchase. It died after a couple uses. Then came the fun part. Target said it was past the return date, so I reached out to Hamilton Beach and they said they would gladly send me a new one. If I paid them $15 to ship it. No refund either, unless they got it back. Which meant I still had to pay the $15. I don't have the money. So I'm stuck with the huge food processor taking up space. Luckily I paid for Allstate insurace so I'm going to try them. but I learned my lesson. Going with KitchenAid next time.
