Description

  • A: No, food processors are not capapble of making nut butters. To make nut butters, some degree of smashing/fine crushing is needed, the blades of food processors aren't capable of this.

  • A: Cookies, graham crackers Chop. Pulse 5 times to break up, then process continuously until finely chopped. Hard cookies only. Break up into 1-inch or smaller pieces. For buttered crumbs, add 1 teaspoon of butter per graham cracker sheet or for every 3 cookies.

  • A: PROCESSING FOOD 1. Place the work bowl firmly on the motor base and insert the blade assembly. Opening at back of bowl must face column at back of Mini-Prep® Plus Processor. Turn counterclockwise to lock in place. 2. Place food in the work bowl. Be sure the food is cut in small pieces, and the bowl is not overloaded. 3. Lock the cover into position. Note: Due to the powerful motor provided with this unit, Cuisinart recommends using one hand to support the Mini-Prep® Plus Processor during operation. 4. Press the appropriate Chop or Grind Control, depending on the food you are processing. 5. When you have finished processing the food, stop the machine by releasing the control button.

    My favorite mini food processor

    I could not live without it.

Last month my granddaughter just turned 25! And my little processor has been hard at work all those years. It was my fault that I had to buy a new one when I was processing hard Parmesan Cheese and I chipped the plastic bowl. I am expecting my new one to out live me!

    My salsa making machine! 🌶️

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very first food processor. I thought that a small 3-cup capacity processor would be a good machine to start with. So far, I’ve only used it to make homemade salsa. I follow Lisa Bryan’s salsa recipe at Downshiftology. This Cuisinart mini will only make a half recipe. That’s about 2 cups which is about the same amount found in a jar of salsa sold at the grocery store. This little processor is pretty easy to put together. Simply twist the bowl into place, drop the blade on, and twist the top on. Twisting the top on is a little fiddly, but I haven’t broken anything yet. Be gentle with this tiny machine.

    Guys, let me tell you, if you want something that's gonna chop up your vegetables, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, whatever you chop up, I personally chop up garlic and onions a lot. If you want something that's gonna chop it up good without making it mush, without turning it into puree, this is what you get right here. I'm telling you right now, this processor works amazing. Off the hook, definitely what you want. Clean, looks nice in the corner of your your kitchen. I mean, it's. It's not too big, it's not too small. It does exactly what you need. If you want something that's gonna be convenient, cut your vegetables up without pureeing them, clean easy and look nice in the corner of your cabinets or the corner of your kitchen counter, wherever you wanna put it in your cabinet. You have plenty of room to put it in your cabinet. Whatever you wanna do with it? I personally like to show off things like this because I think it's a good looking piece of kitchen. Cutlery, let's say, get it. Don't regret it. It's awesome. You like it.

    Good little compact device

    I’m happy with the Cuisinart Mini prep Plus. It’s compact so fits well on kitchen surfaces and in the cupboard. It is easy to use and surprisingly powerful for such a small food processor. The capacity is ideal for everyday jobs like chopping onions, garlic and herbs, making salsa, pesto, dips and sauces, or grinding smaller amounts of nuts and spices. I also like the simple chop and grind functions and the reversible blade which gives you good control over the texture when done. The removable parts are easy to clean and dishwasher safe too.

    Great Little Food Processor!

    Love this mini-food processor! It is perfect to make pesto and to chop cabbage for slaw. I love the small size so that I don’t have to drag my large food processor out every time I want to chop or grind something up. I can leave it on my countertop without taking up much space. Highly recommend!

    I chose a Cuisinart food processor mainly for its good value. I am a loyal customer of Cuisinart products because they last. The smaller food processor fit my budget and met my needs. It’s compact and useful for small portions; the plastic lid seems delicate, so I am extra careful while using, cleaning, and storing it.

    My Mini-Prep Processor!

    I needed a small processor (especially) for shallots and garden spices in my daily cooking. A large, standard sized unit would be overkill, My Mini-Prep is perfect for my needs!

    Upgrade to a very good machine I have had for years! I haave had its predicesor for many years with many great rresults for is size. It has Plenty of power to chop amd maserate just about anything. Size does matter, Sometimes, but this thing will amaze you in its ability.
