Had this for 2 weeks now and love it. I had a small chopper, too small, and a big Cuisanart, too big. This is a Goldilox chopper. Big enough to do anything but not too big, and its easy to clean. Has one speed only but thats not bad because it chops without turning vegetables to mush. If you want mush, just leave it on longer. Has pulse or on, no other settings. Two blades. A regular chopping blade and a reversible slicer or grader. Does chees well, slicing or grading. Can be a little tricky seating the lid into the slot but now i know just to put the latch near the entry when twisting the lid on. Knob for on or pulse can get slippery but not a big deal. Was worried the wattage was low but is a blessing for salsa because it doesnt destroy the vegetables. Only complaints I have seen are abought dough, but I have a stand mixer for dough, so I cant comment. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time electric food processor for me! I used it to chop up homemade dog food and it did not disappoint. It took the turkey roll, green beans, and eggs and mixed and chopped them into perfection. It’s easy to use for the most part, putting it together was a breeze, I’ve only used the chopping blade so not sure how well the grater works. Chopping and pulsing worked great. I did have a hard time getting the bowl off the base, I suppose that will take some getting use to. Overall a quality product and I will use this frequently for chopping up meat for the dogs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally got to use this today to make apple crisp. It did a great job of slicing my apples and it wasn’t very noisy. The 8 cup bowl has plenty of room for the slices. It was easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. Will use again today to slice potatoes for scalloped potatoes. It is also easy to store

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I have a small chopping, slicing or shredding job, I don’t want a huge food processor that will later be a hassle to clean. That is why I love that this food processor is small and dishwasher safe, making cleaning and storing a breeze. All of the attachments fit right inside the bowl, so it easy to store in a cabinet or even on the counter. In addition, the stainless steel blades cut a wide variety of food effortlessly, which has been useful when shredding carrots for my salads and crushing graham crackers for pie crusts.
Excellent food processor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach food processor really surprised me honestly. It's more elongated than tall, so right off the bat, it's easy to store in any shaped cupboard. The 8 cup capacity lets you blend a large amount of food in the tray. I use it a lot for hummus, tomato sauce, soups, or simply chopping lots of cabbage for cole slaw. It comes with a slicer/grater blade to use as well. Shredding cheese is a breeze. Clean up is easy, its dishwasher safe minus the electric part. The feed chute also can be turned into the bottom part for especially small places. It's very powerful and chops through whatever I needed it to. Overall, this is an excellent food processor I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first task with this was to do a shrimp salad spread. I put 16 oz of cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp in it, and finely chopped and set aside. Then I added 4 quartered hard. Oiled eggs and finely chopped and set to side. Last I finely chopped 2 stalks of celery. Mixed all together with enough mayonnaise to hold together. The complete process took about 5 minutes. Still thinking about the next project. Maybe a no cook salsa.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm over the hill & this is my first time using a food processor. The Hamilton Beach 8-Cup Food Processor is awesome! Where have you been all my life? I was scared to try it but found it easy to put together, easy to use & easy to clean. Very easy for a newbie that's never used a food processor & doesn't have friends or family with one to show me how to use it. I'm not one for creating my own dishes so I followed the recipe for salsa in the provided. I made a mistake of blending the salsa too long so it came out soupy, but it tasted fantastic. I did follow instructions for slicing & shredding cheese by freezing a bar for 30 min. It sliced & shredded in seconds saving my fingers. I am proud to own & I highly recommend this food processor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great processor for those quick jobs. It is so easy to clean; you can even put it in the dishwasher. I love the reversible blade, making less parts to pack and keep track of. The size makes for easier storage and they system was so safe that even my 5-year-old grandson was able to help me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm absolutely in love with this 8-Cup with 2 Speeds plus Pulse Food Processor. I have recently had some dental work done and am unable to eat most foods. Decided to use the food processor on some meat sticks and did this work great. A bit loud because it was meat, but worked perfectly and so easy to set up, use and clean. Perfect all around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The basic shape is unique- longer than it is wide, not overly large or tall, which is convenient for storage or counter space, yet its strength and “bowl capacity” is more than adequate. Its speed adjustment is conveniently located beside the bowl. One speed is for continuous processing, the other for pulsing. It comes with a standard blade for chopping and a reversible disc, one side used for grating, the flip side for slicing. While I found the chopping blade and the grating disc to work quickly and very well, the shoot that allows food to enter for processing is not very large and the slicing disc produces thinner slices than I would have liked. This resulted in smaller pieces needing to be introduced into the feed and thinner, smaller, sliced pieces being produced. The food pusher also serves as a 1/2 cup measuring cup, which is convenient. The bowl itself is a bit tricky to remove for cleaning but cleaning the machine itself is easy. Bottom line is that this food processor is a handy tool and an attractive addition to a kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this item for 3 different food items. It worked well for all, I ground up ham for ham salad, I grated cheddar cheese and cabbage for cold slaw . The cord is long enough, but not get in the way or hang over counter. I do appreciate that pieces fit into bowl for storage, which keeps everything together. It is about the size of a 4 slice toaster for counter space, so it does not take up to much room. Very easy to use, and does a great job. When it is running the noise is not to loud, but you do hear it. My one complaint is the arrows that need to be lined up on base, bowl and cover, could be done in a different color to be easier to see to line up. Clear on clear and white on white is hard to see. All in all it will be a unit I see using many times, making prep much easier. Easy clean up, blades come out and disk, rinse, wash and set to go .

It takes just a few minutes to make. Its also very easy to clean. I made some salsa that my boys really loved and It didn't take me long at all. I used the slicing blade to make it. Turns out very tasty and quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked the food processor, because it was so light. Easy to use and is so powerful. Don't let the size fool you because of the power. I used it to shred cabbage and to slice cucumber with the one blade. The blade design is great because each side has its function. It took less time to chop. My only concern was putting the cover on was a little hard the first three times until I got used to it. Storing it was easy because of the design which is great, with everything fitting inside itself. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
Simple enough to use. Better than a manual crank!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a manual food processor for many years. It is true that it made delicious salsa and other easy dips but, it was tedious and tiresome. I was quite happy to try out my first real electric food processor. The product itself is smaller than I expected, about the size of a single drip coffee maker. It is easy to put together and looked easy enough to clean. No more hand grinding! I really like the container with cup sizes on the side for easy viewing. I was happy with the dicing and grating piece as well. That will replace another whole machine. I have a 2 in one device and didn't know it! I look forward to using it for future meals especially salsa!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 8 Cup Food Processor is Small but Mighty. The food processor has 1 speed and a Pulse feature. I used it to make the crust for a Coconut Cream Pie. The processor was able to process the cookies into perfectly sized crumbs for the crust and incorporate the shreded coconut and melted butter to form the crust. I loved that the Food Pusher has measurements on it which makes it come in handy. All and all a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less is more, with this Hamilton Beach Food Processor. If you are limited on space and want a simple machine, then this is the food processor for you. It's not complicated to use with just two settings on the dial, and the clean-up was easy and efficient with the removable parts. I made a quick green salsa, and it chopped up all the ingredients in no time. It also comes with a slicing/shredding disk that would be perfect for cheese and or vegetables. The food pusher is also a convenient 1/2 cup measuring cup that includes oz's and mL readings. The only downside of this product is that it lacks a cord storage area on the base, maybe for future models this could be included. Overall, it is a simple machine for those that are looking for something less complex and easy to store.
