Solid
I have a small two-cup chopper, but needed something that would slice & grate. We've only used it once so far, to grate cheese, and it has a strong safety feature where if everything is not lined up just right, it will not power up. That's good for safety, maybe a bit more difficult on getting it to work. It grated the cheese without a struggle, so I'm sure it will handle something firmer like veggies quite well.

Cuisinart 9 cup processor
My son gave me this food processor for Christmas and I love it! I previously had the smaller version for many years but this one is a game changer. I love to cook and bake so it has made a big impact on the time I spend on ingredients and recipes! It is sturdy and dependable and very easy to use, I would highly recommend it!

Do not like the continuous feed option
When grating cheese with the continuous feed, cheese flies everywhere. Definitely not the time saver I hoped it would be. The second time I tried to use just the chopping blade, the unit doesn't work. Trying to work through Cuisinart for a repair, but they are not helpful.

9 Cup Gem
WE purchased the 9 cup cuisinart to replace an 11 cup we've had for over 20 years. The new 9 cup worked like a gem. The blade storage was much more functional and the extra bowl with side chute was a definite improvement.

Good for small batches
This is a replacement for an older version. Takes longer to mix cookie dough. The blade wobbles on the stem and doesn’t sit flat on bowl base. Have to open lid often to mash mixture down to continue mixing.

Great unit!

Great processor for everything you need
The 9 cup processor and shoot is a great all in one unit. chops and shreds beautifully and the separate chute bowl allows continuous feed for as much as you need. Great unit, runs smoothly with little to any movement on the counter.

So Happy With the Continuous Feed
We purchased this model to replace a 30 year old 14 cup Cuisinart food processor. I wanted the continuous feed option and with two of us now don’t need the larger machine. First activity was shredding cheese for Mac and Cheese. It was seamless and fast. The continuous feed into a bowl is great. Cleanup is so easy. I’m impressed and am looking forward to using it for bread, pie crust, slicing veggies, etc. It will save my hands. I highly recommend this model!

Great appliance (once I figured out how to place components correctly)! The continuous feed is the bomb! Speeds are good, not the easiest to clean, but not troublesome. Love this appliance.

Not Recommended
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not perform as expected. This design has the hain blade sitting too high, The macine does not chop or blend dough as well as the older design that had the blade sitting low on the post. I returned the product.
