For many people, getting this excited about a baking sheet would be considered odd---but those naysayers have never suffered the trials and tribulations of finding a decent baking sheet that doesn't overcook the bottoms of delicious treats! THIS PAN IS AMAZING FOR COOKIES AND BISCUITS. Truly, I have never loved a baking sheet as much I adore this one---and I've tried a wide variety of them, from the old-fashioned ones to those boasting modern technology. My cookies baked perfectly (not even close to burned bottoms!) and then effortlessly slid off the pan without even leaving the normal cookie "residue" which often occurs from the crumbs and/or caramelized sugar (no parchment paper necessary). I ran it under the tap between batches to cool off the pan, and it went from 350 degrees to cool-to-the-touch in twenty seconds. It does equally well with bread products and pretty much anything else you throw in the oven.
Not only have I recommended this pan to every baker I know, I'm going to buy more (the great price is an extra bonus). I was shocked to read another review here that said it was bad for cookies...I can't even imagine how that might have happened for them...but this is the best kitchen purchase that I've made in ages.
After reading great reviews on many sites, I bought several of three different sizes for holiday cookie baking. It would have been quite convenient. I returned all of them. I give this pan 3 stars. Unless you like spending money on parchment or enjoy washing a silicone slab AND a baking sheet, don't use this pan for baking cookies. They stick. And the pan did not cool as quickly as adverts and reviews claimed. However, it IS a very solid pan and if using it for anything other than cookies, it will likely work well. The half sheet did not warp and handwashed fairly easily, even with stuck on chocolate chip cookie residue. If I needed more roasting pans, I probably would have kept one of each size.
These are great baking pans!!! They are stamped with Nordic name. I use for many things, baking cookies, and also high oven temperature for baking bacon. They don't "pop" when I take out of oven!!! Also, the price can't be beat buying at Target!!!
