Cuisinart Pro Classic Food Processor

I love this food processor! I still have my mini Cuisinart processor - I have to say that after 30+ years (I got it for my bridal shower), it still works! I just needed a larger capacity. As my oldest son loves to cook, I will gift my mini to him. Cudos to your company for producing top quality (an understatement) products!!

Great machine. My wife loves it. It makes quick work of her homemade mayonnaise as well as her pizza dough recipe

My last processor's plastic closing mechanism broke. Researching for a replacement processor I decided on the Pro Classic 7 Cup Food Processor, and happy I did. The base is on the smaller side which is great for storage, but the size doesn't give into the sturdiness. It's a solid, good weight base. My last processor was loud. My wife would have to pause the TV whenever I ran it. With the Pro Classic 7 Cup Food Processor she doesn't realize I'm using it. I haven't used all the functions yet, but it was a pleasant experience using it to make pasta dough and dicing vegetables. Highly recommend.

Replaced our 25 year old Cuisinart (which we loved) with this classic model that is almost identical after all these years. The plastic safety interlock had cracked on the old unit. The only difference is the new version omits the plastic dough blades, apparently they found the metal blade works just as well for dough. There's also a new shorter lid/cover for smaller jobs.

Works, but it is difficult. The interlocking safely features in the hopper lid make it very difficult to process anything. Just getting the motor to come on is sometimes near impossible. Once you get the machine activated it does a fine job of processing food.

Love this machine! Except for 1 thing: Between my husband and me, with our 2 masters degrees, we can’t figure out how to separate the top 2 pieces for cleaning! Very frustrating.

I purchased this for my second home because I use this my primary one at home and didn't want to travel with it. I use it shredding cheese, slicing pepperoni, carrots, etc. But my favorite time saving use is for scalloped potatoes. It's a game changer. I love the quickness of the machine, the easy cleanup because the parts all come apart. I do wish there was a case to keep the slicers and extra parts. If you don't cook much or don't want to spend as much money on a food processor then get a smaller one. I like the large bowl this one has and getting everything cut without having to stop and empty it every time I cut potatoes.

This 7-cup food processor replaced our 25-30 year old Cuisinart 7 cup food processor - and it is even better than the original. It does everything the old model did - not with a lot more power - so much more quickly

This is the second of these processors I’ve owned. The first one was still working perfectly after 30 or so years but I put a hot grill by it and disfigured the front. This one is working just as the other one- perfectly.

Gorgeous. Very sturdy, nice size for 1 or 2 person household.

I had a Duet blender/processor for years and years. The plastic part of the processor started crumbling. So I bought this REAL food processor. Why didn't I think I needed it for all of this time? WHY? :) Well, it is great. The first thing I noticed was how much more quiet is is than the Duet machine. Holy cow! Next, how much faster it made my nut butter. Holy cow! Easy clean up. All good. I love it. For those of you who really don't need the full sized 10-11 cup processor bowl, this one is perfect. Gift this to yourself. You won't be sorry.

I bought this to replace the one I’ve had for 20+ years. I could have replaced the chopping blade, but decided I wanted a new one. Fantastic for slicing onions for onion soup, Shredding Vegetables like carrots, mixing meatloaf, etc. I like having the second lid so I don’t have to use the slicing-shredding lid for chopping; it’s easier to clean.

I have used Cuisenart 7-cup food processors for dearly 3 decades; 3 to date. Unfortunately, the bowl and feeder lid degrade & age out, and replacement parts are obsolete before the more expensive motor base and blades. I wish Cuisenart would carry replacement parts longer.

No comparison to anything else, this is all you need and it works flawlessly! Quality is top notch, Ninja? Lol, be serious, not even in the same league.

I had this exact same FP for 20 years and the only reason it died was the clear container base got old and yellow and cracked. The base motor assembly was as good as new [only yellower due to age] If you want to buy once, buy this one. The quiet indication motor is why. Trust me, forget the fancy looks and go for the power and durability, you will be happy.

Excellent powerful food processor. Although you have to read directions to use properly, once learned it functions perfectly. The reason for only 4 stars is due to the fact that it doesn't come with blade storage which would make it easier to store the blades. Really love it!
