  • A: Thanks for your question! Yes, this unit does have a replacement for the work bowl that you can purchase. It is model number CCH-3WB.

Q: Is this product free of PFOA, PFAS, PTFE ? I’m surprised no one asked this question.

submitted by Sonia S - 2 years ago
  • A: BPA free items may still contain other bisphenols line BPS. BPA free does NOT mean the item is free of forever chemicals which in general are called PFAS ( PTFE and PFOA are specific kinds of PFAS).

Q: Can you use this to grind up sprouted chia and flax seeds?

submitted by PandaTwinMama - 2 months ago
  • A: Yes, you can absolutely use the Cuisinart Core 3-Cup Mini Chopper to grind sprouted chia and flax seeds. Q: Does it grind onion chunks to a more liquid substance?

submitted by Veronica - 4 months ago
  • A: Yes, the Cuisinart Core 3 Cup Mini Chopper (CCH-3) is capable of grinding onion chunks into a more paste-like substance. This is because the machine includes a dedicated purée function designed for soft foods. However, for blending, please take a look at our immersion and countertop blender options.

Q: Does it pulse as well ?

submitted by Ldog - 8 months ago
  • A: Yes, this unit has a pulse function. Pulse action is best when you are using the Chop function. Two or three pulses are often enough. Be sure to check the food frequently to prevent overprocessing. If you overprocess, you are likely to get a watery paste instead of a fine chop.

This chopper is the perfect size for the two of us. I use it to chop frozen riced cauliflower and frozen leaf spinach into smaller pieces before adding to my smoothies for that nice smooth finish.

    3 cup mini chopper

I do like my mini chopper. The only criticism I have is the handle was replaced with a plastic lip. I was a little concerned with the size of this “handle” , works ok but I do like the handle on my previous Cuisinart 3 cup chopper better.

    Excellent chopper

I used this for the first time today to mince garlic with parsley, fresh oregano, salt and pepper to mix with olive oil for garlic bread. How nice to have this little machine do the work in a jiffy. It is so easy to use, clean and store. I should have bought it ages ago.

    just the right size

As an executive chef, I find myself working on new recipes at home quite often. At work I have access to a lot of institutional size equipment, for preparing and serving food to over a hundred guests. As I am not preparing such a large amount during home testings, the mini-chopper is just the right tool for many applications, from chopping to blending, aioli to pate.....Easy to clean, to be able to move on to the next use.

    Perfect kitchen appliance

I was given my first mini 30 years ago. Sadly it collapsed last summer. I was given my second mini 2 months ago. I love having the mini rather than the “biggie” because I am usually preparing a meal for one or two people. The mini gives me everything the “biggie” does and it’s easier to lift, maintain and clean.

I found 2 little pieces of plastic outside of the container. In all honesty, did not call customer service and investigate where it came from. But got my choir done well.

Great little machine, small enough to leave in the counter . I use it most everyday chopping nuts, grating cheese or carrots, etc. My 14Cup Cuisinart food processor is getting jealous.

    It's ok not the best

Does not chop fine enough _-----++-+---------------
1 reply from Cuisinart team - 6 months ago
We’re sorry to hear the chopper isn’t meeting your expectations. For finer results, we recommend pulsing smaller amounts of food at a time, using the “pulse” function rather than continuous chopping, and ensuring the blades are properly aligned and clean. If you’re still experiencing issues, our team can help troubleshoot or review replacement options. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8900527387 so we can assist you further.

Easy to use and very light.

I have a full size Cuisinart, but this is lighter and easier to use if I just need to chop a small amount of ingredients such as celery or onions.
