Hey, just use a knife
My bf wanted this bc he’s lazy. I’ve used this thing maybe like 3 times now. My bf probably uses it more. I try to clean it right away after using it cuz food literally gets into every crevice of it but my bf used it and left it in the sink for days and now it has mold growing in it that won’t go away even after burning it in the dish washer 3 times. I don’t recommend buying this one. Maybe there’s one out there that doesn’t allow food particles and juices to go behind the blade and into the spring and all that but this one just seems like there was no thought into making it. Not to mention it’s super expensive.

This is a handy tool if you don't have an electric chopper. It worked well on onions, but don't expect the chopped onion to look like diced onion. The appliance doesn't cut that finely, but did what I needed.

Perfect little manual chopper.
For two months I put off buying this chopper because of the bad reviews. Then I started thinking about one I had for years tntil it broke ND it had been okay. I bought this one by OXO and it is great. First you can take it apart to clean it and for those with a dishwasher, this one is dishwasher safe. It chops perfect. For instance, it will cut an onion up very fine for soups and meatloaves. You can also chop it larger such as you would want for hot dogs. It rotates while you chop which gives consistency to the chopping. I really don't understand why it has so many unkind reviews. I am very happy ad am thinking of buying a spare just in case I wear this one out. Read all the directions before using. Chopping only takes a few seconds.
