The OXO SoftWorks Vegetable Chopper quickly and safely cuts onions, peppers, apples and more in one smooth motion. A recessed cutting area holds food in place while you press down on the soft lid to engage the stainless steel blades. A non-slip base keeps the Chopper from sliding. Chopped food falls directly into a 2.5-cup-capacity body featuring an Easy Pour Opening. When you're finished, remove the web from the lid for a simple cleanup.

Q: I purchased this chopper maybe last year or two, I'm having a hard time trying to figur out how to get it apart for cleaning? The clear see through part is very difficult to separate. help!

A: I had the same problem. To get the clear part apart, I hold the unit with the opening upright and grab the top part with left hand and then put my right hand fingers through the opening and push out.

Much needed!
I've spent plenty of nights ordering in because the thought of all the prep work and clean up time was overwhelming. This chopper has changed that significantly! I roughly slice my veggies (depending on what I'm making that day) and pop it on the blades. I get even cuts in much less time and effort. It's been a game changer for my dinner prep!

Works well but takes up space
I prefer simplicity in cooking. This device makes chopping so much easier! You do have another device to store, but it’s worth the space if you prefer quick chopping. Easy to use and will last long if you wash and store quickly to avoid the blades from corroding.

Saves a ton of time in the kitchen
I really like this because it makes chopping up different vegetables for salads or soups and stews easier than if you were doing it with a knife. The only reason I give it a four is because you do have to cut some things up to fit and some of the harder vegetables it can give you a workout trying to chop them up but for the most part this saves me a ton of time. I love using this to make like a tuna salad and I can just put egg, pickle, a little onion and it will chop all that up and I can make tuna salad in less than 10 minutes. Really great little helper in the kitchen

I would be happy if it was a little more durable.
Very easy to clean. The material was not very high quality. I bought it for potatoes but I had a hard time because the potatoes were hard. It would be better if it was used for softer vegetables and fruits. The design looks nice but the material is not durable. But the formation of the lower chamber is safe.

Love this chopper
This is great for chopping vegetables was assigned Texas caviar for a party and it was so nice to chop all of the vegetables which included onions, peppers, tomatoes into the little container below. You have to get this if you don’t like chopping with a knife this is perfect and all the pieces are uniform in size

I’ve been using this chopper for a few months now and I’m happy with it. It makes chopping vegetables quick and easy, saving me time in the kitchen. Great chopper
This vegetable chopper works great. I have used it multiple times and have not notice any dulling. I love the removable purple plastic piece which makes cleaning the chopper much easier. That being said it can be a bit difficult to clean by hand, so I usually throw it in the dishwasher. Little bit on the expensive side for what it is, but I don’t regret my purchase.

I was so looking forward to using this chopper. It does not work. The little bit that did chop, stuck on the blades. A sharp knife is all I need.
