Q: Hi, I just bought this mixer and in the manual in “Parts and Features” it says it comes with “8. Stainless Steel 12-tone Whisk Accessory” however, mine did not come with one.

submitted by Cali - 3 years ago
  • A: The manual actually is for three different models. This particular model does not come with a whisk accessory.

submitted byElizabeth - 3 years ago
  • A: The 5 Speed Hand Mixer comes with the turbo beaters and the wire whisk is available as a separate purchase.

Q: I'm looking to replace my hand mixer, and I can't decide on the 5 speed or the 7 speed....can someone help me decide? Which one would be a better choice, other than the price difference....thank you so much!

submitted by Alicia - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi Alicia, It depends on what you plan to use it for. The higher speeds are better for whipping eggs.

Q: Does the mixer work well with cookie dough?

submitted by AppleT - 5 years ago
  • A: I saw all of the negative reviews, but that isn't the case for me. I don't bake a lot, but I have never had a problem with it. I made chocolate chip pecan cookies recently and the mixer had no problem powering through a ton of chips and pecans. :-)

  • A: Hi AppleT, The Ultra Power Hand Mixer is great for mixing cookie dough.

I bought 5 speed mixer through the retailer and I used it. I would say that unfortunately this mixer is not 5 speeds. It looks like 5 speeds but from 3 to 5 completely same, what a big disappointment. I had like Kitchenaid appliances until I used this mixer.

Sometimes my large Kitchenaid is just too large for the dish that I’m making. In the past I’ve used it anyway. I’m so delighted with the 5 speed Kitchenaid mixer. It works perfectly for small recipes and does the job as well as the big Kitchenaid mixer. I can’t say enough about the quality of the hand mixer. The two are a perfect match. Each has it’s own unique job to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a mixer NOT made in China -- this one is assembled in USA but is not quality I hoped for. When I received it (after it was shipped from near my town to the far side of state, then to another state before returning to the distribution point near me!), I thought I was going to have to return it. It was extremely difficult to get the beaters into the mixer, but I finally did, and then, the extractor didn't want to eject them! After the third use, the beaters are easier to insert and the ejector is finally working as it should. I am disappointed with the power, though -- my cheap 15-year-old China mixer was stronger at 3 speeds than this one is on 5. Maybe that will improve with time. It does mix cake batter, cookie dough, homemade frosting, meringue. Have not tried whipping cream yet.

I have used KitchenAid mixers for many years and love them. My husband got me this one to replace a previous model. It had much more power and more settings. I have been disappointed with this one, as it doesn't whip as well as my old one did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the weight of this hand mixer. I haven’t put it to the true test yet which is mixing potatoes and cheese for pierogies. My old mixer would really bog down. This mixer seems like it has the heft to deal with gloppy potatoes and cheese!!
