[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cheaply made product. It replaced a previous hand held hand mixer and it is not of the same quality. The paddles can be bent; they are thinly made and not durable at all. Worst money I have spent recently. I am so sorry I bought this product. Big disappointment from Kitchen Aid.

Awful Experience with KitchenAid Brand Hand Mixer

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Alie - 24 days ago, Verified purchaser
I’ve always been a loyal customer of KitchenAid brand, owning nearly all of their gadgets over the years, but this hand mixer has been the absolute worst purchase I've made from them. I bought this after my older model stopped working, and I’m beyond disappointed. Pro:The mixer is lightweight, which is about the only positive I can find. Cons:It has almost no power. No matter what I’m mixing, whether it’s cake batter or dough, this thing struggles to get the job done. It’s almost useless for anything beyond the simplest tasks. What happened, KitchenAid brand? This feels like a major step backward. I’ll be looking for a replacement from a different brand.

This is the worst hand mixer I’ve ever owned. I will take the blame for not reading the details that it is only 60 watt power, and assuming because it was a Kitchenaid that meant quality. Why??? buy this junk when you can buy a 150 watt for $23 on amazon and be confident you can mix up mashed potatoes well. I wished I had never got rid of my Sunbeam hand mixer I bought 20 years ago for $15 and it worked great! This mixer is just horrible. Might as well use your hand because it would work equal to this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this appliance a few months ago but had not had call to use it until recently. The wire beaters don't work as well as older-style beaters with actual blades. The wire beaters are fairly weak in construction so that they are not nearly as sturdy as I'd hoped. I;d have returned it if not for the expiration date on returns.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Should be 4.5. I love this mixer, but only came with one pair / size beaters. Thankfully my old beaters fit perfectly, so I’m not really out. I can’t understand why they would sell it with only a single option. I saw other mixers with more beaters, but I think KA wants the consumer order them separately and thus earn more. It works very well though, and runs very quiet compared to my old ones

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this around 2016, so it's held up for 8 years under moderate/occasional usage creaming butter and whipping eggs/cream and the like! It isn't the most effective at beating large or thick quantities, and takes a while to whip eggs, but the price is great for what it does. I think I knocked the beaters against a utensil or bowl once and it dented the beaters/made them crooked, so they don't spin straight down from the machine: they're slightly wobbly and spin in a wider circle, and I'm not sure where to get that fixed/replaced, if it's even possible.
