A: I saw all of the negative reviews, but that isn't the case for me. I don't bake a lot, but I have never had a problem with it. I made chocolate chip pecan cookies recently and the mixer had no problem powering through a ton of chips and pecans. :-)

Easily made cookie dough without a single issue. Even when the dough got pretty thick, this kitchenaid mixer did the job perfectly well. it was quiet and didn’t make a mess. it was worth the investment.

They don't make 'em like they used to
I bought this to replace my previous KitchenAid hand mixer. It is lighter weight than my old one and doesn’t have nearly as much power. When they handed me the box at package pickup, I opened the box to make sure it was in there. I have always associated this brand with quality but this seems like a cheap knockoff.

Quality not as good
Bought this to replace the exact same model that I have had for over 15 years. The new one feels light and chintzy - I don't bake as much as I used to but.....we'll see. I am expecting it will probably break long before my old one gave up the ghost!
