I've used it once for cupcakes & homemade frosting and I really like it! It's great too that you can add your own bowl if needed and also great that it can be used as a hand mixer. I've had great use our if Hamilton Beach hand mixers through the years so I'm happy to try this one out and absolutely love that it has a stand and is literally a fraction of the cost and weight of the heavy duty stand mixer out there. I hope this one lasts a long time (:

I liked the idea of it detaching if I wanted to use it for something else but i don't like that the attachments don't mix the bottom of the bowl well. I bought this to make cheesecakes and this hand/stand mixer couldn't keep up. I'd hate to see how it would do if I was mixing something thicker. Affordable but I'll pass. Returning it to buy one that's able to mix better. If you are looking for a hand mixer this is a good buy but if you don't want to manually mix anything don't buy this one.

The power was decent. The size was as described. It was a bit difficult to place the mixer onto the stand properly for me. I wanted to love this (great price); but the attachments don't reach the bottom of the bowl and MIX as it should! I had to keep stopping and mixing the bottom of the bowl by hand... so annoying! I don't care that the price was right - it's still a rip-off if it doesn't do what it's supposed to do! I returned this the next day.
