The power was decent. The size was as described. It was a bit difficult to place the mixer onto the stand properly for me. I wanted to love this (great price); but the attachments don't reach the bottom of the bowl and MIX as it should! I had to keep stopping and mixing the bottom of the bowl by hand... so annoying! I don't care that the price was right - it's still a rip-off if it doesn't do what it's supposed to do! I returned this the next day.

If you're limited on storage space, it's great that the hand mixer comes off to use independently from the stand and bowl. Especially, because the mixing blades don't reach all the way down into the bowl when used on the stand. I do wish there was somewhere on the stand to store the ectra accessories when not using them. Could have possibly designed the stand differently to store the accessories inside with access in the bottom of stand. There's a lot of wasted space inside, I'm assuming it is to make the whole thing more lightweight. It would be nice if the cord was retractable or had a cord retainer on it so I didn't have to find a spare twist tie. I noticed that it took a couple tries to properly click in the hand held mixer to the base, it doesn't fully line up right. With more practice, I'm sure I can do it easier in the future. I do wish it came with the "twisted wire beaters" instead of the "flat beaters".

It is a 6 speed mixer and each speed works great for whatever you are mixing! You can make pretty much anything you want with this mixer including bread and even frosting! There is a lever at the bottom of the mixer that you can move that rotates the bowl so that you get even mixing. I also like that you can detach the handle from the base and use it as a hand mixer! The bowl is 4 quarts too so you can make a lot of whatever recipe you are making. And it is dishwasher safe too! This is just a really nice mixer and I highly recommend it!!
