[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the ice cream attachment. I love making ice cream for my family with all natural ingredients. It is easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars if it had come with more than one recipe. The recipes are hard to find online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before using the bowl, make sure to freeze it first for 16 hours or so.I tried using tapioca flour instead of egg yolk to see if it's going to work as a binding agent for this homemade ice cream. Don't ask me for exact me for exact measurements because I eyeball most of it except the sugar and heavy cream.Next time I'll use condensed milk instead of sugar.Also make sure the drive assembly and the dasher are aligned before adding the mixtures. Make sure your mixer is only set to level 1 and let it mix for 15 to 20 minutes until it thickens into a delicious ice cream. My family definitely enjoyed this homemade ice cream. I can tell already that this is gonna be one of our favorite kitchenaid attachments this summer. Also, be careful scraping the sides since it's made of aluminum. It will scratch easily if you use a spoon. Use a wooden spoon instead. The drive assembly and dasher are made of plastic, so handle it with care.

I'm used to homemade ice cream from traditional ice cream freezers that always seems a bit gritty and doesn't freeze well after it's initially made. This makes suuuch smooth ice cream that STAYS smooth and creamy even after freezing!! Amazing!

It was super easy to set up, all you have to do is freeze the bowl overnight first and get the mixture ready! I started with just making classic vanilla so I could add additional add ins later, and it is absolutely perfect. When first churned it is like a soft-serve consistency, but you can put it in the freezer to enjoy later if you like the harder ice cream! It isn’t noisy at all, really quiet.
