Nice design but no instructions
No instructions in the box. It is not clear what things are machine washable, how exactly to disassemble and reassemble the parts, or intended uses and included features. Usually at least when a product has you go to a website for more information it is at least there but not only is none of this information included in the box but it does not exist digitally either. Very irritating to have to hunt for a manual for a premium product you purchased. Apart from this issue the parts are quality and the ability to disassemble and wash them is very handy. Just wish I didn't have to figure it out for myself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this and pundnit hard to attach, when i thought it was attcahed it wasnt and flour went everywhere. i have to get my husband to attach it and even then it doesnt look particularly safe, doubt i will use it very much if at all and feel its a waster of money

Saves time on sifting

The attachment was easy to assemble. No need to have a separate set of scales and separate bowl to measure first before adding to my recipes...yay! Cleaning up was easy also. Makes for better cooking and less mess!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had always kept an eye on this and a friend recommended it, so it was a no brainer after my pasta attachments. This system is a great addition and makes for a lot less mess in my kitchen and greater accuracy in my bakes and batters. Loving using it. Only drawback to me is when I am m making a double batch the receptacle at top is not big enough and I have to run the flour through twice.

Time Saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to treat myself during the EOFY sales, and so glad I did! I’ve loved every part of this Sifter + Scale attachment, from the beautifully thought out packaging, giving every piece its own place, to the ease of setup and use. The sieve attached won’t sift as finely as other sifters may, but still works great! I’ve used this a few times now and it’s always worked great everytime. I highly recommend this attachment.

Not practical item to use with the tilt head mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the sifter once, think i can whisk while slowly adding flour thru the sifter. the sifter attachment has a metal to scrap the flour down. however the speed would be the same setting as the whisk, making it really loud noise. Very inconvenient if u try to attached it while whisking, as well as inconvenient when trying to tilt the stand mixer which lifts up. not the practical item. I had to return it, too many parts to clean, not beneficial.

Questions on how to use
I have a few questions on the usage of the sifter, when the sifter is on the paddle is moving in the bowl. So when sifting flour into a batter you are mixing the entire time the flour is being sifted into the bowl. Which may be too much mixing. In many recipes when adding the flour to the wet ingredients you are directed to not 'over' mix. But if I'm mixing while sifting then I'm at risk of 'over mixing" How do I not over mix, do I take the paddle off the when I'm sifting? ( that seems like a process). Second question is does this sifter work for brown sugar?

Fantastic attachment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this last month and do not regret it. It makes cake making so much easier. Using the sifter has help so much as I currently have a broken arm and using a manual sifter was too difficult. If I didn’t have this attachment I wouldn’t have made any cakes for our Easter family gatherings.

Great attachment

It’s perfect to hook right up to sift fresh ground flour for bread, brownies, pasta or whatever you may be baking for the day. I use it often and it’s easy to clean up also. You just put your flour in the sifter and while your wet ingredients are mixing the flour is sifted in for easy mixing.

Glad I bought it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoy using this. Took a few tries to assemble and disassemble but it's simple once I figured it out. (I'm not one to easily grasp concepts with items with moving parts). I like being able to use the scale either on the mixer or on the counter. Also like being able to add in flour (salt, baking powder) alternately by turning the hopper knob (removing the sifter when necessary) and watching the scale.

Not worth it
not worth the price. Scale can't weigh the 3.5oz bowl with water without error message. The bowl comes with the mixer so I wanted to use it with the scale. Sent an email for a new scale but no results yet.
