Works great. Follow pasta recipes closely and recommendations from KitchenAid and the pasta is fabulous. I even milled my grain and still made a great pasta.

It's beautiful, extremely well made, and it fits in my drawer in the pressed paper shipping carrier! As for how it works? I haven't a clue, it's the warm season here and I haven't had much call for pasta of late. But once I get to cooler weather I'll be happy to review my review, I plan on making a fair amount of noodles. dw

Couldn’t be more disappointed, especially given the price. Used once and is now unusable. The main problem with this unit is it’s impossible to clean. Had a bunch of dried dough stuck behind the rollers. No matter what I tried, couldn’t get it out. So I carefully took the pasta maker attachment apart to see if I could get dough removed only to find out it was going to pretty cumbersome so I figured it’d be best to not mess with it further and put it back together. Problem being is it won’t go back together as you can’t get the main roller pin realigned. Tried for five hours to put it back together and am not left with an incredibly useless expensive pasta maker.

I bought this right before Christmas and have already used it 4 times! I love that it is all one piece for easy storage, but when preparing pasta, it is nice to not have to change out the pasta attachment. I have made lasagna, spaghetti and fettucine and my husband and I have decided that we will not be going back to store bought pasta. Worth every penny!

Making our first batch of pasta day after Christmas. Finally cracked open my new pasta maker attachment for my kitchenaid which wasn't a recent model. They don't make ygrm hearty like mine anymore. 30 minutes to blastoff!

It’s very durable as well! It attaches pretty easily and it’s easy to clean, just ensure that you dry it properly so it doesn’t rust!

Kitchenaid now has a 3 in 1 metal pasta maker that allows me to roll and cut my pasta without switching!! Fettuccine or spaghetti or roll your dough out to make raviolis, lasagna, etc. it’s not loud at all either! great quality, heavy metal.

The attachment is stainless steel, sturdy, locks onto my mixer securely, and each cutter (fettuccine, spaghetti, and the flat sheet roller) runs incredibly smooth. I tried the fettuccine cutter first and it handled my beginner dough like a champ. Clean, even cuts, no snagging, and the machine basically does the work for you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pasta beginner here! Using this attachment and a good recipe, I was able to create fresh, homemade pasta. Attaching the 3-in-1 pasta attachment was easy. The adjustable knob for the roller determining pasta thickness moves from 1 to 8 in one direction. When you reach level 8, you must continue to turn the knob until you’re at 1 again. There is no dialing the knob backwards. One thing to remember is FLOUR! If you don’t use enough flour after rolling, when you move to the next step of cutting the pasta, it will stick together and not make a clean cut. Cleaning the attachment is different than other kitchen items, as the instructions say not to use water. A brush with a pick is provided. Overall, this was fairly easy to use as a novice. So I’m sure that any seasoned pro would approve and enjoy this method better than a hand crank.

This was so simple to use, although there was a little bit of trial and error at first. When feeding the dough through the rollers, we were initially using too large of portions, which caused the dough to jam up and ruined the process. Once we tried using a slightly smaller portion, as well as dusting both sides of the dough with more flour, it came out perfectly! The most important step was to continue dusting each side with flour every time before running it through again. After we got the hang of it, the process was very quick! Our pasta turned out great and I look forward to using it again. Honestly never thought making homemade pasta could be so quick and easy!!

After I had my pasta dough prepared, feeding it through was extremely easy and quick. All the settings worked beautifully. This was my first time, and the only hiccup I had was not adding enough flour to the outside of the dough to make sure it didn't get stuck.
