Very Happy with Artisan Mixer
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought the Artisan Mixer to replace the Classic Mixer which we used a lot for over 20 years. The Artisan was on sale at the time and it has a bigger bowl. It is working great - have made pizza dough, muffins, cakes etc., and works great. All the attachments that we had for the Classic (Pasta Attachment, Meat Grinder) also work on the Artisan Mixer.

Motor not up to the Task

The only thing I would add is to have it lock in the upright position. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this flex Edge beater for my mixer because the silicon rubber on my original beater developed a split along the edge. maybe because I have used it so much. I love using this beater as it reduces the number of times I need to stop the machine and scrape down the bowl. My only hope is that pain on the base of the beater does not wear away to quickly to expose the bare metal. Could not live without my Kitchen Aid mixer!
