Q: What is the difference between a Classic and a Classic plus?

  • A: Description says 250watts for the Classic and 275watts for the Classic pro. That is what the details say, I'm not 100% sure as I haven't received my Classic Pro yet and also the first answer says it's from the "Kitchen Aid Team" and I'd hope they would know so maybe it's a misprint in the details and like they say "color" options is the only difference. Then again color wouldn't make it for professional use in my opinion but more power would.

  • A: Hi Luna, a 5 quart bowl will not fit the 3.5 Quart Artisan Mini. It will however fit the 4.5 Quart Classic Stand Mixer. The attachments which fit the power hub will fit all KitchenAid Stand Mixers. the Accessories such as flat beaters, whips and dough hooks are designed to fit specific stand mixers and you will want to verify with your specific model.

    mixer review

    Recieved my mixer as a gift , I never thought in my lifetime I would ever own one ! I love it very much , I am a big baker and it works beautifully ! My only regret is I wish my stainless steel bowl had a handle on it , I have RA and a handle would make it easier to hold .

    not what I expected

    I'm still getting used to my new mixer. I had my old one for over 20 years! I loved it. I miss the handle on the bowl of this "Classic" mixer. I didn't even notice on the picture. I thought I was ordering the same mixer that I've been using. The speeds also seem different. I guess it will take time to become familiar with the differences.

    Well Built

    This was a birthday gift replacing my old one. I love my kitchen aid mixer. The only problem was trying to slide it when I wanted to use it. This one really sticks so I bought a bamboo base that it sits on and the problem was resolved. I bake a lot so it will get used all the time. Thanks for making such a great product at a reasonable price.

    One Small Problem

    I only rated it a 4 due to the fact that the mixer bowl doesn't have a handle on it. A handle would make pouring a lot easier.

    Lemon product

    I returned this product. The head of the mixer scraped the bowl and no troubleshooting fixed it. I’m disappointed with the specific product but I had a lemon. I will eventually purchase another one.

    Passing it down from generation to generation!

    I LOVE my new mixer. I had a kitchen aide for over 25 years and wanted to change colors and gave the old one to my niece. I felt good giving it to her as I know it will last at least another 25years. She was excited to get it as her daughter (13) loves to bake too and they only had a hand mixer .It was a win win situation for all of us.

    replacement for 40 year old equipment

    This purchase is a second purchase/replacement for my first 4.5 qt KitchenAid Stand mixer. It is 40 years old. I wanted a new one in case my old one dies suddenly. I must have a stand mixer in my kitchen.

    The BEST mixer I've ever owned. This was a Christmas present and the Best by far. There is no better mixer than the kitchen aid stand mixer. Easy to use clean and of course mix!

    Glad someone bought me one finally

    So far, so good. Love it more than my hand mixer. Would like a splatter guard of some sort for more liquid ingredient mixing. Grater accessory worked well for zucchini and cheese. Easy to clean.
