Overall it’s a good home mixer. I was hoping it to be a bit higher powered but is was not hence 4/5 stars. I’m glad it has a good low power. It took a bit of time to whip potatoes and I just don’t think at this price point it should lack the upper power to whip potatoes. Overall it is a good home mixer.

This electric hand mixer has the container that holds all the different mixing attachments and the electrical cord. It isn't over complicated with a digital readout indicating the speed which, I think, could end up being problematic. I chose this mixer over the more expensive Kitchen Aid option for several reasons: 1) This comes with a 3 year standard warranty at no extra charge unlike the Kitchen Aid's 1 year warranty. 2) This is cheaper. 3) Cuisinart's website was easier to navigate for that warranty information. 4) They actually answered the phone when I called with questions about the different mixing attachments which, by the way, they are all stainless steel and can be put in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. How do I know they're stainless steel? They're non magnetic. Good stainless steel is non magnetic and won't rust. Cheap stainless steel is magnetic and can form surface rust, and chromed steel is magnetic and will eventually rust once the chrome starts to flake off. Lastly, 5) This I only verified once I got the mixer. The low setting is low, so you don't have to worry about whatever you're mixing flying all over the place. Just a great electric hand mixer from Cuisinart with 7 speeds, stainless steel mixing attachments, and a 3 year standard warranty at no extra charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to replace an older model mixer that I had and loved! I have used it just a few times so far and I like it. As other reviewers mentioned, the cord can get in the way, even though you can lock it left or right. I was able to get it out of the way by tying up the loose part of the cord. Yay! I like how easy it is to change speeds. It feels heavy to me, but I have a weak right arm from childhood polio. I just might have to use this left handed. It is a very nice beater!

This is my 5th purchase of this mixer. This one replaces my 1st one which will go in our camper, others were gifts. That says it all! Love it!!

I have used this new mixer several times for blending liquids, mashing potatoes and mixing heavy batters. It has worked well every time with no bogging down. It’s easy to grab when I don’t need my heavy countertop stand mixer!

This is a really nice mixer, but I really need someone to show me how you store all the attachments AND the cord in the container. I tried, but the whisk would not sit nice with the cord. It just seemed like if I kept all the attachments and the cord in the container then some of the whisk wires were getting bent and you can’t leave the cord out. It would be nice if there was a small indent in the back where the cord could lay so you could have all the attachments in the container and then wrap the cord around the actual mixer.

The cord stores in the plastic container with the beaters. The photos are misleading. Make sure the cord is clean when storing.There is food contact surfaces against non-food contact cord

I avoid gluten, eggs, and dairy because of allergies. When you make desserts without those ingredients it’s super dense and thick. Really hard to mix and this mixer mixed it without any issues. I’m very happy with it.

I needed to replace my Cuisinart mixer after 20 (!!) years, so I relied on another Cuisinart product. My new 7 Speed Mixer has worked great so far - and I hope I have this one for a long time too.

This replacement hand mixer is far superior to our previous Cuisinart hand mixer. It is robust, the two beaters are larger and heavier-duty, it is SO smooth operating at ALL speeds! Wish we had bought it sooner. Can’t wait to try the bread hooks!!
