KitchenAid Ultra Power 5-Speed Hand Mixer

I bought 5 speed mixer through the retailer and I used it. I would say that unfortunately this mixer is not 5 speeds. It looks like 5 speeds but from 3 to 5 completely same, what a big disappointment. I had like Kitchenaid appliances until I used this mixer.

We bought this hand held mixer a year ago and love it. It is lightweight and so easy to use. We are so satisfied.

Sometimes my large Kitchenaid is just too large for the dish that I’m making. In the past I’ve used it anyway. I’m so delighted with the 5 speed Kitchenaid mixer. It works perfectly for small recipes and does the job as well as the big Kitchenaid mixer. I can’t say enough about the quality of the hand mixer. The two are a perfect match. Each has it’s own unique job to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a mixer NOT made in China -- this one is assembled in USA but is not quality I hoped for. When I received it (after it was shipped from near my town to the far side of state, then to another state before returning to the distribution point near me!), I thought I was going to have to return it. It was extremely difficult to get the beaters into the mixer, but I finally did, and then, the extractor didn't want to eject them! After the third use, the beaters are easier to insert and the ejector is finally working as it should. I am disappointed with the power, though -- my cheap 15-year-old China mixer was stronger at 3 speeds than this one is on 5. Maybe that will improve with time. It does mix cake batter, cookie dough, homemade frosting, meringue. Have not tried whipping cream yet.

I have used KitchenAid mixers for many years and love them. My husband got me this one to replace a previous model. It had much more power and more settings. I have been disappointed with this one, as it doesn't whip as well as my old one did.

My old mixer would really bog down. This mixer seems like it has the heft to deal with gloppy potatoes and cheese!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) A recent purchase to replace a vintage hand mixer. Love the aqua colour. This mixer has a good number of speeds, is powerful and the 2 paddle attachments are nice in that they rinse off easily.
