Braun Prep 8 Cup Food Processor

I had an older Braun food processor that was so well built and I got rid of it just because it had a chip in the container. Boy, do I regret getting rid of it!! I brought this new Braun food processor based on the quality of my old one--but there is NO comparison. The Braun name doesn't mean anything anymore. This is so cheaply made compared to my old machine. The central spinner comes flying off everytime I take off the container--because it's light and not really attached to anything. The machine works fine so far, but I doubt it is going to last like my last one and it's so light and cheaply made. I prefer heavy quality made appliances. Will not buy Braun again.

The space it takes is very less and for the job it dies, it is very light weight as well. 3. It does many functions like grating and slicing which makes the kitchen tasks very quick and easy. 4. The food processor capacity is very large too so it can hold a good amount of food. 5. The blades are very easy to use and dismantle.

It shredded a brick of cheese in 2 seconds, boom like that it was gone. Awesome for mixing things together, dicing it down to manageable pieces. Awesome appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using my 8 cup food processor by Braun. It’s the perfect size not too big not too small for my needs. Today it’ll slice or dice anything you want. My favorite thing to use in it is onions no more tearing and is much faster. Clean up as a snap. Not too many moving parts in it. I think I’m gonna go make some guacamole now.

First of all, I like the compact design, that it doesn't take up a lot of space, yet it holds up to 8 cups which definitely makes a lot. I love the ease of this machine. It's super easy to use with just a few buttons and a few attachments. I use this daily and it is super easy to clean too. I have used this to make pizza dough and it kneads the dough perfectly!! It chops, slices and shreds, so you only need to have one machine to do it all. I make smoothies in it daily and they come out so rich and creamy! I also use this to meal prep and it does a great job chopping my vegetables. So happy I have this machine since it so versatile. I now keep it on my counter since it is used so much!! Love this machine!!

The size of the chopper is great, it fits nicely on my counter and the sleek design and black color make it fit right in my kitchen. The chopper chops food into several different sizes depending on the setting I use. The blades are really sharp and cut everything from onions to nuts. I love the funnel at the top so I can keep adding more food while chopping. This is a great addition to my kitchen and meal prep routine.

First of all, let me explain that I have an obsession in the summer making salsa from fresh produce I grow in my garden. For years I made it all my hand, YES chopping up all those tomatoes, onions, peppers, cilantro etc. with a knife and cutting board. It took way to much time! Finally a few years ago I switched over to my Braun Blender which sure saved time but, unfortunately even though I was as careful as I could be it made the salsa way to smooth and not as chunky as I prefer. WELL, HELLO BRAUN FOOD PROCESSOR... Welcome to My Kitchen My New Best Friend! This machine could not be any easier to use or control. I tried a batch of salsa with store bought ingredients (as it is winter now) and the consistency was perfect! Nice sized chunks, not a puree'!! Although it does have a puree' option along with chop, slice, shred, knead and it says more! I cannot wait to try the kneading option! This BRAUN FOOD PROCESSOR has two speeds and pulse. Eight Cup Capacity, comes with knife blade, dough tool, spatula and discs. Parts are dishwasher Safe, but I am old school an prefer to clean it thoroughly after each use and make sure it us completely dry before putting it away. I do like the size of this as I like to control the size of my batches. I feel I can make sure the flavors are all up to par that way. With so many counter utensils these days I don't care to have great big giant ones that I don't have room to store. I am so happy with this and grateful to have it, I am really looking forward to Salsa Season this year!

The powerful 550w motor can easily cut and chop just about any vegetables. The controls are also simple and straightforward. Mine came with a slicing disc and knife blade, but other accessories such a dough tool are available. My wife loves it.

Super simple. I have used it for slicing cucumbers and tomatoes and grating cheese. It can also mix dough which I have not tried yet. Cleanup was a breeze!
