NutriBullet Flex Portable Blender

This was given as a Christmas gift. I was super excited to use it and boy was it a let down. I’m appreciative of the gifts it’s not the gifters fault the product was awful. We’ve given this so many chances and every single time it lets us down. It gets stuck on protein powder, got stuck on bananas this morning, god forbid we make it try to blend ice; it couldn’t even blend up a frozen blackberry. These 5 star reviews must be bought and paid for; you can even see who received it free and was incentivized to review. Do not waste your money on this crap, I’m glad I didn’t. We’re going to have to spend money on something way better. At least this was a good baseline to use as to what specifications and brand to avoid getting on our next blender. Please do not buy this. You will be disappointed

The battery died completely after my 10th blend while it worked completely fine the day prior with no problems but I guess that’s what you get for a piece of poop

I thought this was going to work great until you actually use it. The lid leaks. So, unless you have a very thick smoothie, it will end up all over the counter.

I bought two of these blenders a month ago and they are the worst blenders I have ever owned. They are a pain. Both of them constantly stop blending when frozen fruit is used. I have to take them apart and rinse the blade because they keep getting jammed. They have to stay plugged in otherwise they run out of battery very quickly. I have even tried running the fruit under water to thaw them a bit and it still doesn't work as advertised. I am using plenty of liquid and adding ingredients in the recommended order. I continue to use them because I paid so much, but it is a daily battle. These are the first and last Nutribullet items I have bought. I would not recommend this item.

Kind of an okay product. It has a neat design and features but the overall purpose is to be able to blend a smoothie, which it has so much trouble doing. My smoothie is simple - milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, berries; that is all. But the nitribullet, after all week of use, has yet to blend a smooth smoothie. Plus, the battery only last for about a 10 to 15 second blend before it has to charge again (doesn’t continue to blend while plugged in, needs to charge again). I do like the rubber base and the small handle/lid but the design of the cup makes it such a pain to have to rinse out and clean. I bring this to work with me, so I can’t just throw it in a dishwasher. I need to hand wash it. But the detachable base and lid both get filled with gunk within the threading and the rubber seating after each use and needs to be deep cleaned every time (not just a simple rinse and wipe dry).

First time I used it, it was fine. The next day, same ingredients, and it showed all different lights, then the red flashing one. it showed fully charged. I took it back to the charger, then tried it again. What a mess. After half an hour, it finally started up. Wayyyyy too many lights. And to wake it up and then press button, what could be easier? NOT!! very disappointed.

All parts can be disassembled and clean. The motor is great.

Just received this for a Christmas present and was so excited. My girlfriend has a nuribullet that I used when staying with her that prompted me to ask for this present. So disappointed. It did not blend everything, even when moving things around. Only frozen item was loose leaf spinach, then it died on me after charging all night long. What a joke.

I don't want to have to change my appliances to use it.

It's a good size cup and very easy to wash. It blends pretty good and it's chargeable which I love for road trips. Pretty easy to store in your kitchen. LOVE IT ❤️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blender has many nice features. Portability is a plus. It is compact enough to carry around and take with you. I like the lid with handle and the spout which allows you to use it as you to go cup. The parts are easy to put on and off and wash. The quality of the blender is pretty good. As far as safety, the blender will not start until it is properly placed and locked in. It also turns off automatically after the first cycle. I gave it a 4 star because it does take 2 or more cycles to properly blend otherwise it does leave chucks. In my case I used fresh fruit and it did take more than 1 cycle to properly blend. I did not try with frozen fruit but given that it took 2 cycles with fresh fruit it might be more cycles with frozen. However, I would still recommend for those who want the portability feature and those who will probably do smoothies.

Works as expected and way better than my earlier blendjet

I like the design of the unit and the idea of it, unfortunately it has stopped working on the third try. it will flash yellow three times which indicates overheating when I haven't used it or. charged it for 24 hours. if you do happen to catch it on a good day don't use frozen fruit. as soon as it comes across the blad the unit will shut off. never actually got to enjoy a smoothie. I will go back to Ninja as I've never had a pro lem with their products.

It blends everything super smooth — even ice and frozen fruit — without me having to stop and shake the cup a hundred times. I love that it’s powerful but still easy to clean, because I’m not trying to fight with kitchen gadgets in the morning. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s a bit louder than I expected and I worry with kids sleeping, but overall it’s a great, reliable blender that gets the job done fast.

Let me just say that this little blender has replaced even my most expensive kitchen appliances… and it outperforms my other handheld blender (Blendjet) tenfold! I love making soups, dips, sauces, smoothies, cocktails, protein shakes… you name it, the nutribullet can blend it! The blades are super sharp and slice through hard veggies and ice like a knife through warm butter. They are also removable and dishwasher-safe which makes cleaning a breeze! To say i am impressed with this appliance’s sheer power is an understatement…. with 7.4v of power, the nutribullet flex is truly a force to be reckoned with! I guess what they say is true… good things do in fact come in small packages! The crafmanship is not only beautiful but also functional. The blender is portable which makes taking your favorite beverage with you a breeze! There is no assembly required so you get to blending your favorite drinks in no time!
