  • A: From a chef's perspective in case you do not have a dishwasher, one way to clean it would be to insert dish soap and little warm (not hot) water. Turn it on to distribute the soapy water around the blades. Pour it out and continue to wash until one's own liking. Best to do this after every use to prevent the build-up of mold or bacteria.

  • A: I had to throw out the 2 that I had bought--after 4 months, neither would separate the cup from the black bottom. I bought it a second time because (a) thought that inability to separate cup from black bottom on the first one was a fluke and (b) liked the way it looked and had worked previously. Now must buy another brand.

    I loved it in the beginning because of its compact size and sharp blades it did what I needed it to do but in less than a year there are cracks in the plastic and it is leaking, so now I have to buy a new blender.

    Will work initially only

    At the beginning I thought it worked well. But shortly after a month it blends only after u keep taking it off and shaking it or using something to mix things up otherwise it just spreads things to outer edge and not blend ur items and im talking about soft fruit or veggies. Although it still technically spins everyone gets annoyed using it. I don’t even know why I still have it. Just spend more money on something that will actually last. I’ve had it for a year and only because I’m too lazy to take my big blender out with multiple parts to wash. I think all these good reviews are from new purchase. If people told u after months they would sound like me.

    Mighty little blender!

    I have found this person blender to perform better than I anticipated. I have used smaller blenders for frozen items in the past with little success. I have used this personal blender with frozen fruit for smoothies and found it to get through the iciness well. I may have to remove it from the stand to shake the chunks around, but it handles it relatively easily. Makes a smooth, very thick smoothie.

    Love this blender!

    I love this blender for mixing my morning drink. It is quieter than my Ninja and holds more. I gave it 4 stars because the lid comes off way to easy. It does not screw in or lock in place and when I pick up the container, the lid comes off and I spill the drink. I have a habit of picking up these types of containers by the lids and this one comes off way too easy and I end up spilling my drink. I had one of these before, gave it away years ago and forgot that was an issue with this blender set up. So back to a bit of duct tape! Otherwise, it is a sweet blender and I love the color.

    Lid Pops Off

    So i bought this so I can make smoothies to go. Well I made my smoothie that went well. I picked up the container the lid came off and it spilled all over my desk at work. Wish the lid was more snug than just sits on there. I would not advice to travel at all with this! Need to pour in a different travel container.
