  • A: From a chef's perspective in case you do not have a dishwasher, one way to clean it would be to insert dish soap and little warm (not hot) water. Turn it on to distribute the soapy water around the blades. Pour it out and continue to wash until one's own liking. Best to do this after every use to prevent the build-up of mold or bacteria.

  • A: I had to throw out the 2 that I had bought--after 4 months, neither would separate the cup from the black bottom. I bought it a second time because (a) thought that inability to separate cup from black bottom on the first one was a fluke and (b) liked the way it looked and had worked previously. Now must buy another brand.

    Keep the Box

    The seal on the blender leaks and the item was purchased less than a month. Since I didn’t keep the box for the blender. Target guest service, with my receipt would not take my return for a refund. So every purchase that comes in a box save the box and your receipt. Now I have to contact Hamilton Beach to see if they will refund the money. Quality is lacking in this mini liquid blender. I will purchase Cuisinart Blender. Zero Stars for this product.

    Leaks, not durable, but perfect size for 1 shake

    Every version of this I purchase gets worse. Lid doesn’t firmly snap on, so I’m constantly making a mess out the top while blending. The sliding lid over the drinking hole also leaks when blending. The bottom leaks at the place where the blending mechanism is. They took away the cord keeper aspect, which used to be very helpful for storing. Product just keeps getting worse.
