Worst book ever
This is the most boring book I've ever had the displeasure of reading. Nothing happens for over 200 pages. Nico is one of the most powerful characters in the Percy Jackson books and his second book consists of nothing but farting. And everyone is super out of character. Will boops Mr. D on the nose? And flirts with girls in front of his UNCOMFORTABLE boyfriend? Will is not like that. There are lines straight up taken from previous books and the honey scene is in every cringey fanfic. Horrible writing on Mark's part. And Mark changes things to make it more convenient. Don't want Nico to be antisocial anymore? He isn't. He is magically cured of everything that made him different thanks to Mark. Nico gets weak when shadow traveling? Not anymore. Genius Mark "solved" that too. It was important to his character. A lot of things were important to Nico's character. He was different. He wasn't like every other gay character. But Mark changed him into just another generic gay boy. Also. NOTHING happens in this book that's worth reading. I love to read and I read a lot. But this is without a doubt the WORST book ever.
