Q: Will this chalk stain clothes? I've found that whith most outdoor chalk; when it get s we it tends to stain clothes.

A: It will wash right out in the washing machine. My 18 month old looked like she came back from Woodstock with all the colors on her white onesie, and it came out in the wash without extra stain removers.

Q: Please specify the size of EACH chalk stick in inches, not the size of the box holding the chalk sticks. Please do not describe the size of each stick as “standard” or “jumbo”. THANK YOU!

As stated on the package, Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk is designed to wash clean from asphalt and concrete driveways. To help lift the stain, our experts have a cleaning tip to share with you. As with all of our suggestions, you will want to test in an inconspicuous area, to ensure you are pleased with the results. Place the stained area on paper towels and blot it with rubbing alcohol. Wash the garments in hot water with laundry detergent and Clorox 2 or OxiClean powder and rinse in warm water. Repeat as necessary until all the stain is removed. This chalk is not washable especially the black and the brown colors. My child colored on white concrete and we’ve spent the last month trying to scrub it off with every cleanser you can imagine and you can still see it. It should come with a disclaimer

Got these for our art easel as our chalkboard chalk kept breaking. We like these thicker pieces for toddlers that are still learning appropriate pressure. It is messy/chalky, but well, it’s chalk.
