Q: I was wanting to make a Christmas house out of the model magic, can glue be used to support add-ons to the project? Like a chimney, window frames etc
A: It's beginning to look a lot like craft-mas! White craft glue or school glue works best to adhere Crayola Model Magic to itself and other objects. Make sure your piece is fully dry before gluing.

Q: Is this able to be molded and stick around metal once dried?
A: Hey there! Once Model Magic has dried, it may be difficult to form around an armature. We'd suggest forming it around a piece of wire or foil before letting it air dry for best results. Need further assistance? Our Colorful Care Team is here to help at 1-800-CRAYOLA!

Q: Can you paint on it? What kind of paint?
A: Hi Thleeny, That is a great question! The dry Crayola Model Magic compound can be painted with Crayola Watercolor, Tempera, Acrylic, and washable paints or decorated with Crayola Markers. It takes about 72 hours to completely dry. Wet Model Magic can be colored with watercolor and markers, however, the colors will be lighter than those applied to the dried compound and the pieces may take longer to dry. In addition, wet Model Magic can be colored before modeling by kneading drops of watercolor, tempera, acrylic or washable paints in. We hope this helps! If you have any further questions, please give us a call at 1-800-Crayola.

Q: Does this clay harden when it dries?
A: Great question! Crayola Model Magic is an easy-to-use modeling compound that air dries. When dry, it is not pliable like a modeling clay product and feels like a foam cup - light and spongy. Hope this helps!

Q: is this clay gluten free
A: Glad you asked! Yes, Crayola Model Magic is gluten free. Although a product may not contain wheat, Crayola is not a gluten-free manufacturing facility. Since multiple Crayola products are produced in the same manufacturing facilities and on the same machinery, there is a slight chance of cross-contamination. While the protocols we follow are proprietary, I can confirm the machinery used to manufacture Crayola products is cleaned between production runs in a manner that meets or exceeds all regulations. Hope this helps!
