I was very disappointed in the quality, the melamine coating is very thin and had many defects/chips. I feel they cut corners by not covering the inside of the drawer face with melamine, it’s just the cheap particle board. Some boards were not labeled so we had to guess what they were and the instructions lacked. In the pictures, it’s very hard to differentiate between a wood dowel and a plastic dowel. I know the instructions are pictures so it’s multilingual but some words would be helpful. I gave it two stars because the size and design of this sewing table are good but I definitely wouldn’t recommend South Shore to anyone. I did have my eye on a couple more items but because the quality of this desk was so poor, I won’t be purchasing anything else.

I bought this sewing table over 10 years ago and it still serves me perfectly. My niece has taken up cricut so I ordered this one for her. She loves it. It holds a ton of stuff and the pullout section is wonderful. The castors are a bonus which you dont find on many tables-makes it so easy to keep the floor tidy. A solid, reliable product-the best!

Was going along fine until one tiny part was missing. We now have to wait 3-5 days to finish putting it together. If you have limited time and space, you know how frustrating and inconvenient it is to have to find a place to put a partially constructed piece of furniture and it’s parts.

My husband got this craft & sewing desk for me for Christmas. Yay! While unpacking everything, the table top was broken in half. I was super bummed, but ordered my replacement piece online, and received it within a week, so all is good. I love all of the compartments, and it has a pull out door for my sewing machine, which is great.

Screws provided did not fit into the handles of the desk. Assembly is now on hold while we see if the manufacturer can resend the screws. Major inconvenience. Also, the large sliding door on the right side leaves a .5 inch gap between the drawer itself and the side of the desk. A nice desk that is absolutely NOT worth $300+.
