Initially was hoping for a more cilantro taste however jalapeno is definitely more dominant. But not in a bad way! I personally like this dressing and do like jalapenos. It's an interesting and different taste. I don't use it for salads, because I do think it is better on other things. So far I have used it as a dip for chicken wings and quesadillas. This is not your traditional spicy/southwestern ranch dressing. It doesn’t just have a “kick” it has actual “heat.” The first few times I ate it I had it on pretty traditional salads and while I liked the flavor a lot I just thought the level of heat felt too out of place on some greens. Might be really good on a taco salad. I decided it works much better and makes more sense as a sauce for tacos, quesadillas, or for all the things standard ranch is already used for as a dipping sauce.

We love this dressing! It has more of a kick than we expected so if you don’t like spicy foods, you may not like it. If you like spice, though, it’s got a great flavor! Fun to have something different on our salads. Actually, all of the flavors we’ve tried of these Good & Gather dressings have been really good. I wish the price was slightly lower for 12 ounces but it is delicious.

A unique dressing that you could do so much with. The spice level could easily be overbearing for those who don’t enjoy spicier foods. I prefer spicy food and I really enjoyed this on top of salad. You could even use this as a marinade for chicken tacos, etc. This is so good but it is not for the weak.
