A: Each mask is about 1/2" thick. These are made of papier mache, so they would not be as sturdy as a material such as plastic or acrylic.

The website states these can be painted and embellishments added. They are flimsy and cheaply made, and I highly doubt anything would stick to them. If you're 5 years old, they would cover your face, but worth of not fit comfortably so why bother. A 5 year old would totally destroy them. If you're looking for a quality product, keep looking. $50 for a 12 paper bags is a waste of money. These are going back to my local Target store tomorrow!
