Mobile Warming Womens Crest 2.0 Heated Natural Duck Down Puffer Vest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool vest, it’s going to keep you warm. It has four heat zones, two on the upper chest area, one on the left, one on the right, one on the lower back, and one towards the upper back area. I would have liked one heat zone on the waist, or lower waist area. The outer shell is water resistant. There is no hood, but I would have liked one. It came with a 7.4V LI-ION battery bank, that connects to the vest to heat it. You can download the app, to control your heat setting right from your phone. The power bank, not only heats your vest, it has a flashlight, that is bright, plus can also charge your phone! The battery life is great, on this power bank. Back to the vest, it is stylish for sure. The zippers have been super smooth when opening, and closing. I love that all the pockets have zippers. There is an internal pocket. It’s big enough for my phone, or some cash, and keys. No worries, it has a zipper to keep everything safe. You can most definitely use the vest without, the power bank to heat it. Now that it’s colder though, I have been grabbing the power bank on my way out the door. I sized up on the vest, to layer over sweaters. I am normally a size small. The top is perfect with some room to layer. I like the style of the vest a lot, I just don’t like that it’s a bit long on me. I am short, so I like the vest to be a shorter length. I’m still using the vest, that’s just a preference for me. The vest gets so cozy, and warm I start to sweat! I can easily access the settings from the app, to turn the heat down from my phone, or press the control on the vest itself. Sometimes it’s so cozy, and warm that I keep it on even when I get home. I’ll start to relax in a chair, still with the vest on. I start dozing off, because it’s so cozy warm haha! Really nice quality vest, it’s lightweight, and not too bulky.

The down makes the vest so fluffy and warm, even without the battery pack installed. The targeted heat running through the vest, powered by the battery pack, brings the heat to the next level. I love this vest! San Diego is d-a-r-k at night, so the extra safety strips as a visibility measure is highly appreciated. I found it tricky to figure out where to plug in the battery on the vest. It has an extra pocket-within-a-pocket (zippered) on the side that has the “M” button. Once I found the right side, installation is pretty easy. You just plug in the battery pack and zip that pocket shut. You can control the temperature with the button on the vest or with the app. To turn on the heat, you need to start the battery by pressing the small button on the battery pack. Then you can control the heat with the app or the button on the vest. Charging the battery is simple and there is a button on the battery (the same one that you use to turn on the battery pack) that allows you to see the battery’s approximate charge level with small lights. The app is super straightforward to use on my iPhone. No issues there. There are also interior pockets that don’t zip shut if you need to quickly stash something, like a phone or gloves. I’m eager to try out other items from this brand!

I did find the battery pack to be a little heavy and awkward in the pocket but that can’t really be fixed. Also the arm holes seem small for some reason, the rest of the vest fits great but the arm holes might make it too tough to wear with a thicker sweater or sweatshirt.
