Silver Alpha-Cellulose poly cones deliver strong midrange and tight bass, and the UV- and moisture-resistant rubber surround enhances durability and mid-bass response. A high-temperature adhesive cone/surround connection maintains integrity even under demanding playback. Engineered for precision, the built-in 6 dB passive Butterworth crossover provides seamless transitions between the midrange and tweeter, while the epoxy-infused natural fiber spider maintains flexibility and strength. Supporting components like the pure copper voice coil, Kapton voice-coil former, and ferrite magnet motor ensure efficient power handling and heat dissipation, while the over-coil air cooling system keeps performance consistent.
