A: The Cuisinart Griddler GR-11 does not have removable plates to make waffles, the only Cuisinart griddler that has waffle plates available is the GR-4N.

A: In the "Details" section, it states there are open hinges, so you can lay it out flat and grill vegetables. :-)

So was looking for a panini press that i could remove the plates and wash unlike most that are not removable and course this brand is one of the only ones that are removable i wanted just an panini press nothing else and found this one simple to the point works perfect gets very hot does the job love it 3 minutes tops done i recommend it not too many buttons plug in heats up under 4 minutes unplug off done that simple get this save your money on those expensive ones this will do the job.⚡️👌

So far so good! I've used it a few times and the outside of the bread gets nice and toasted and not soggy. I like that the 2 press plates are detachable and go into the dishwasher for ease of cleaning. It will make 2 sandwiches at the same time or one large panini, so a decent size. I haven't used it as a grill yet, just as a panini press but it does open up completely, so can be used to grill veggies or a burger if you want. It's a good addition to my kitchen.

Love using my new grill for sandwiches and clubs. Gives a nice toasty taste. Cleaning can be a hassle, but learned to clean right after use or reheat and clean with water spray. Placing towel underneath catches any mess.

This is my first Panni press, I read reviews on many products prior to choosing this one. It is easy to use, has lots of room for those thicker sandwiches. It cooks evenly and if you layer your sandwich right it will melt the cheese perfectly. Just buy this one !! You can't go wrong

I bought this to make paninis, it cleans up very nice. what i don't like is you have to make extremely flat paninis. we use ciabatta rolls and try to replicate a pressed sandwich. was hoping this would make my mornings a little smoother but unfortunately not. I'd return it if I could. going back to using my cast iron pans. the sandwich I made on it looks like a flattened mess

No timer, no beep, no on/off switch. Not clear what preset means. Regular bread burns if left for 30 secs more. A $6 toaster at the store is safer with a timr. Decide if you want to pay top & bottom plate with handle and wire.

Heats evenly and quickly. Simple to use and monitor progress. Surface is nonstick but I used a little cooking oil and had no problem. After using it is easy to clean and then store when not in use.

Quality press that can handle whatever you're looking to cook. I like that the plates are dishwasher safe too. However, it is a little small and there is no temperature control option. That being said, it really is a good press and I use it for paninis multiple times a week.

This panini press is just okay. It doesn’t compress equally from the front to the back. Also, the grill doesn’t get hot enough. The cheese melts before the bread has browned. I wish I had bought a higher end model.
