Q: What is the clearance for Travel Mugs? Can I use a 7" mug, is it taller or shorter?

  • A: Chuck, In order to clear the nozzle and hopefully without spilling while tilting cup too much to pull out: With the tray, max height is 5.25". Without the tray, max height is 6.25".

Q: Is there any restrictions for the type of coffee you can use? Dark, medium. I know I had an $800 De’ Longhi that they said not to use dark because of the oiliness of the coffee.
