Q: Is there a type / shape of bulb you recommend so the bulbs are not do visible under the shade from across the room? Regular bulbs really stick out. The picture on the box doesn't show bulbs protruding

Defective Lamp
This lamp was defective. The final piece in assembly is the wood screw top that holds the shade to the lamp. The threads were set too deep and would not thread into the lamp. This was very frustrating after unboxing and assembly 98% of it, only find out it was defective. Disassembling the lamp and attempting to rebox it was a hot mess as well. Clearly there were quality controls in place for this product.

Missing parts
It was missing two parts. Pole F and Finial H were not included in packaging. I couldn't put it together. Very disappointed and frustrated. Now I have to return it or try to get missing pieces. A problem rather than a purchase.

Really wanted this to work. Needed bright floor lamp with high wattage. Unfortunately the threads don’t keep the pole screwed together in one piece. It was frequently loose &mat the base and near the lamp shade - so it was more of an on the floor lamp (horizontal vs vertical.) Very disappointing.

top stem keeps bending over.
love this design BUT this is the second one I have purchased after returning the first one due to the same problem. The top of the lamp is very unstable and bends over time and no matter what I do, it doesnt screw back on straight. there is a serious design flaw that is ruining an otherwise wonderful design.

This is the perfect floor lamp when you need extra light. I had looked at several styles but decided on this Threshold lamp mostly because it has two light bulbs and two chains so you could have more or less light. I usually pick Threshold brand items because they are made well , look nice and are fairly priced. I actually purchased this lamp during circle week (30% off) but I would have paid regular price because I liked it so much. Looks great in my living room. Happy with this purchase.
