Batteries arrived. When I picked up the package, all I heard was rattling. Minimal (and I do mean "MINIMAL") protective packaging. I opened the box. The plastic container was broken in (many, many) pieces. Two of the batteries had holes in the plastic coating from the pieces of plastic gouging them. I discarded them. I am still waiting for the rest of my order, which has now taken 7 (seven) days to get from Cincinnati, OH to Columbus, OH...an hour and a half away. I dread seeing what that package looks like.

Love buying these D batteries when on sale. They do last a long time and I find them to be better quality than those other name brand pricey batteries. Would recommend purchasing but in store since sometimes the shipping is hit or miss. Depends how they are packaged but the last few times the packaging has been torn and the plastic open and rolling around inside the box hence the 4 star rating. Overall budget friendly and durable batteries!
