Q: Is the weight capacity of 175 lbs correct? There is a similiar model in this line, "Freddy Wicker Storage Bench" that is one less basket width smaller but the weight capacity for that one is 300 lbs.

This piece is cute, well made, and great for extra storage. It looks great tucked into my window cut out in my master bath with a pillow and the Joanna Gaines Target mirror on the other end. It holds my straightener, blow dryer, water pic, among other things. They are all out of sight yet easily assessable. Be aware that the gray is not really gray, it's more of a taupe, so I sent it back, the color was wrong for me... I then got the white one. Love it.
