DC Comics Superman Basic Action Figure 6"

Gonna be fully honest with this one, I'm old enough to have been around the Superman block a few times. I was 8 years old when Brandon Routh hit the screen(still my fav), and I was an edgy teen who had fun with Man of Steel in 2013, before his personality got surgically removed and replaced with a longing stare in 2016. As an adult, I become concerned as toy companies claim that kids are no longer into traditional figures, which we all know is just an excuse to cater more to the adult collector market where you can raise the price as much as you want and have them suck it up(looking at YOU, Hasbro). The truth is that kids still love toys. They just need quality toys at a good price point, which Spinmaster has no choice but to provide given their unique license with DC. And they have done so again here! It looks nice enough for a collector's shelf, is packaged well enough that I want a spare to keep mint, the articulation is mostly sensible(though a double ball peg like the Returns figures had for looking up would've been appreciated), and the build quality is strudy enough that I don't foresee any major breakages with these figures. I do complain about the build-a-figure gimmick, though. Not only is it bad form to do in a KID'S line, but the Superman Robots could've been a standard release to army build. I would've replaced it with the Krypto figure from that one pack. Increased playability and all that. It's good for the kids, and it's good for the adults! To quote one of my favorite movies, "If you don't have one, GET ONE!"
