This 10-lug design features high-end hoops and name-brand heads, plus a layer of ash veneer as a finishing touch.This drum sports an 8-ply, 8 mm pure birch shell in multiple sizes, finished on the outside with a special lacquered ash wood veneer in a range of glossy colors. Where the previous Dominion series drew from the deep studio tones of maple, this resurrected Dominion snare drum model uses birch, a wood famous among drum-crafting artisans for its balanced, versatile tone that works at any tuning. This new construction goes along with recognizable features like Dominion-style box lugs, double-flange die-cast hoops and a genuine Remo coated-dot batter head made specifically for ddrum.
