Dear Evan Hansen (DVD)

This is one of my favorite movies and I’ve watched it a lot and the dvd still has yet to skip!!

all i can say is i absolutely love this movie and the story it has to tell.

I saw Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway with Jordan Fisher as Evan. So, naturally when they announced Ben Platt reprising his coveted role in the making of a movie I was extremely excited I would get to see some version of him as Evan Hansen. I honestly don’t get all of the criticism about Ben looking too old for the part. Sure, he doesn’t exactly look high school aged but do any of the actors who have played high schoolers in the past? I think not. Ben gives an outstanding performance just as he’s done in The Politician and Pitch Perfect, so no surprise there. This is an absolute must see for anyone who regretfully didn’t get a chance to see him perform this role on Broadway.

I’d really enjoy the book and I’m always afraid when they are adapted to a movie, but Dear Evan Hansen movie was not bad, it’s isn’t like the best one but it ain’t far from garbage, it’s a decent film with good acting, and good music.
