Q: Hi, my heater can be set maximum 84 deg only & when weather is very cold it does not seem to quickly warm up or even sufficient to heat my 12ftX12ft office. Never had such issues with other heaters.

When the temperature of the room is colder, ideally, the room will take longer to get warm. Due to the exclusive design, up to 35% more heat is transferred; the more radiant surfaces in the room, the faster heat is transferred. A: Oil is sealed inside the unit, the oil heats up and radiates heat into the room.

I've had this for about two months now, and I am disappointed. The only way I can get this to heat a room is if I put it on the max temperature, and sometimes that doesn't even work .

Odd ticking noise

I found the heater to wake me up consistently throughout the night. It makes a loud ticking noise (30 ticks) every few minutes. Probably when it kicks on to maintain the 68 degrees. I will need to return this heater because of it. Bought it a week ago and still has loud ticking.

Doesn't heat had it on all night and nothing unless you're close to it we started smelling some kind of plastic burning we couldn't figure out what it could be. We finally saw this morning that the outlet was burnt and when we pulled it out the plug was melted and a big fire spark came out. Seriously could have caused a fire what kind of heater does this. I have 3 kids in the house under 18 me and my elderly mom and my sister this could have killed us all.

Super impressed after the first few days. Use it to supplement the kitchen that has exterior walls and is furthest from the furnace. Medium at 68 degrees and it's really improved the feel, and it doesn't need to run non-stop. Leaving it on from 6am-6pm.

These heaters are packed really bad and they do damage during shipping. Learned the hard way, second heater I picked up in store, both dented by inside the box. There is really no protection to the sides of the heater. What a waste of resources.

This heater has been a miracle this past week as I was waiting to fix my heat and night temperatures in NYC have dropped to the 20s. The heater rightfully struggled a bit in a large 10’x20’ room when two windows had large gaps, but after insulating the windows, the heater was actually able to keep the room comfortable with no other heat source. The heater works especially well in the smaller bedroom and has kept me from wearing a coat to bed! (Yes, I know you shouldn’t leave it on overnight but I checked my smoke detector and keep the heater around 67.) The heater is easy to move even immediately after use and does stay warm for some time after unplugging. The buttons aren’t the easiest to press without the unit moving, but I hold on to the handle to keep it steady. There’s not a noise at all from the heater when it’s running. Highly recommend in an emergency no-heat situation like this, and I’m sure it’s even toastier when it’s a supplemental heat source.

It takes a very long time to heat up a room , especially if it’s already drafty or has multiple openings to other rooms. We left it on all night and felt a difference but the plug was hot so we unplugged it to avoid any electrical complications.
