Thought I Bought the Wrong Ones
These new pads are so awful, I genuinely had to compare packages because I was SURE I’d bought the wrong ones. Nope, just a terrible redesign on a product that used to work well. They are now thinner, don’t absorb much, and they don’t cover as much. I hate these new ones and I’m looking for a different brand to replace them. This was a great way to lose customers over a few cents. It’s clear this redesign is intended to make people use more pads. Congratulations Depend, I’ll now use none of these terrible pads.

Unteneable
The redesign has been an absolute nightmare for me. Whatever that thin bottom is just a terrible design. The new one doesn't have the cupping of the previous design it doesn't keep things in place.and is just so uncomfortable And it doesn't serve it's purpose and leaks so easily. I was hoping I just bought the wrong ones. I'm having to stay home because of the new design. I have no confidence that I can go anywhere for any lengrh of time and have to search for an alternatibe product. Something I rarely had to think about, is impacting my life. So dissapointed and upset. This has impacted the quality of my life.

Need to Rethink this
Actually the new pads make me more apprehensive. They roll up at the sides and don't stick to underwear nearly as well.

Depends Guards are no longer dependable!!
I am a long time user of Depends Guards. The updated version is inadequate for individuals who need significant incontinence protection. They leak easily. I am actively looking for an alternative product.

Somebody screwed up!
So disappointed in these new pads that, apparently, replace/phase out 36000 13792 pads. Angry that your newer pads do not meet the "just right" features of the older pad design. I'm miffed that anyone would vote to rule out a product that worked well. I'll be looking for another brand.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

New and Improved...NOT!
These are "new & improved". They are now much thinner padding and wider at the top. Supposed to be more discreet. They leak like crazy on the top and sides leading to a lot a accidents and overflows onto clothing. They took a good product and "improved" it and it is now terrible. If I could give them a negative star rating I would!

New Redesign is Terrible
The new redesign is terrible. It is way too thin and way to narrow at the bottom. I've been using the Fresh Protection Guards for over ten years and almost never had to change underwear. Now with your new product I have to sometime three times a day. Please go back to the old design. Until you do, it looks like I will have to switch to the store brand which uses a design similar to your old one.

Stays dry and no shows!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These briefs are nothing close to brief! They absorbed so well that I was able to wear them for a lot longer than I thought I would! And when there was wetness, it was quickly whisked away and I still felt dry and fresh. I had no worries of accidental leakage moving around or overnight. They blended well under clothes and I could not even tell I was wearing them. must have for occasional bladder blunders!

Bad "New & Improved"
The new and improved pads do not stand up to the old pads. They are not near as absorbent or comfortable for that matter Please bring the old ones back.

The new design is a disaster. Way too thin and way too narrow at the bottom. I never had to change underwear with the old design but I’m changing regularly with the new one. I’m looking to change brands now. Please go back to the old version!

Bad changes
The new design and shape do not improved the product. I have used the old pads every since prostate surgery due to incontinence. The old ticket pads were very reliable. The new pads with the narrower, shorter extension between the legs leaks more. I find it interesting that the graphic showed mostly 5 star reviews but in reading the individual reviews, I found that they were almost all 1 star. I found two 3 star and one 5 star reviews. There fine print said they were incentivized by getting"free product". Basically it appears that the good reviews were bought by the company. I will be looking for better products. The automated assistant is not very original. Each response essentially says the same thing. AI is not a good image. Good luck trying to sell this "product".

New Guards are NOT an improvement
I have had a radical prostatectomy which has greatly reduced my bladder control, particularly in the afternoons and evenings. The previous version of Guards (sku 0 36000 13792 7 / 500000058701) had enough absorbency to get through the afternoon without fear of overflow, and the elastic border provided additional security. This “New & Improved” Guards version does not have the same absorption capacity, particularly towards the back, and I have suffered leakage repeatedly. The lack of raised edging allows any excess urine that has flowed to the back of the pad to overwhelm the absorptive capacity and flow off the edge of the pad, soaking both undergarments and pants. I certainly disagree with their 5/8 “Drip” rating. While I appreciate convenience of using a Guard style of product (as opposed to a “pull-up” style), my daily routine requires more absorption endurance than these new pads provide, so I am forced to look elsewhere.

New Design is HORRIBLE!
The new design is horrible! Removal of the elastic side gathers and elimination of the true cup shape, means they leak extremely easy. The new product was issued without warning or announcement on packaging. New design will double my cost and mean I am never safe from leaks. Horrible way to treat 40 year customers.

What a Disappointment!
I just received a new shipment of these Men's Guards. What a disappointment, the new design must have been prompted to enhance profits. These smaller, thinner, and less material "guards" are totally inferior to the design I've been using for 6 years. Please send communication when the old design is produced again. HORRIBLE NEW DESIGN
New design of men's guards is a real disappointment. Not at all dependable. The new pads are way too thin. I have to wear more than one pad at a time in order to have the right absorption. Please go back to the old design.

Terrible change to product .. go back to original!
Product is more comfortable BUT that's it. Extra width at front is good but too narrow at bottom. Also too short. Needs to go further down. Remember gravity? They are more like a shield for very light leaks. Have used Depend for 5 years but no more. Will throw the rest of my opened 52 pack in the garbage. So long Depend.
