Very safe for kids playrooms and toddlers
After 8 years it finally met its match with the kiddos and has to go. I’m getting a new one because they last. I would encourage you to keep an eye on the inside of the bin and clean it at least twice a month. Especially if you have kids with sippy cups or bottles. Water will get in and you will have an entire mess on your hands.

Not safe for babies and toddlers
Though this ottoman initially served the purpose for which it was purchased, my son still gets hurt on it all the time. Though it's covered in fabric, there's still nowhere near enough padding on the corners and edges. The edges and corners are super pointy and painful if you bump into it or fall on it. Very deceiving and disappointing. The ottoman comes with 2 footstools that are softer and less dangerous. I have a 2nd star because they are really nice to have.
