The Textured Shiplap Ultra White is a peel-and-stick, removable, wall and surface covering that is easy to apply, reposition and remove. Simply peel and stick onto a smooth, primed and painted wall or surface that is in good condition. Or try it on a door, furniture or accent piece. It is perfect for small projects. One roll will transform a 27.5 sq. ft. area. Product works best when applied to eggshell, satin and semi-gloss paints. Applications to flat paints and textured surfaces not recommended. Q: Hi, I'm in military housing and was looking at putting this peel and stick wallpaper on our wood cabinets. Do you think this would work or would it damage the cabinets?

Q: I moved in last year and I haven't painted since moving in....so the paint is probably not the best paint quality that the flippers used....can the ship lap wallpaper be used in this instance?

Q: What is the size of each of the "boards." I have existing shiplap on our mantle, and I was thinking of using this as a background to the adjacent bookshelves. I would not want to do that if the size of the boards were too different.

A: I did about half a wall and had to leave that last piece slightly off alignment (couldn't get to straighten it that day, because, toddlers :)) and when I came back a few days later to readjust that piece and finish the rest of the wall, that piece ripped off the paint and some drywall paper with it when I went to readjust and straighten (I have eggshell paint on the walls, which appears to be ok according to their instructions). Fortunately, I was cutting about 4-5 'boards' at a time and installing that instead of an entire length of paper so it didn't waste too much. However, for a renter, that damage would probably be significant and would probably ding your deposit.
submitted bynashville - 7 years agoA: Yes, as long as the Peel and Stick wallpaper is applied to a painted surface in a eggshell, satin or semi-gloss sheen you should have no issues with removal peeling off paint.

Q: I want the shiplap pattern to run horizontally. Would the roll be hung vertically (floor to ceiling, cutting through the width of each 'board') or would the roll be hug right to left.

A: This can go on a light texture, up to an orange peel texture. We don't recommend applying to anything deeper than orange peel.

A: Although this should adhere to any smooth surface, we can only guarantee a clean removal from a smooth surface that has been primed and painted with a glossy paint finish. We'd recommend testing a small area before doing a full installation.

Lining up the pattern was a nightmare, I’ve had it up for several years and was tired of looking at the imperfections and decided to take it down. It has removed all paint all the way down to the drywall. I had this in my entire bathroom(6 rolls of this junk), and will have to have a professional come in to make repairs.

This was super simple for the space I had to cover. It took me 40 minutes total. As long as you start from the top and slowly peel back the backing while pressing the sticky part slowly, it adheres nicely.

It is very translucent- I used it to cover my outdated wooden kitchen island, and because the wood is darker, you can see where the wallpaper overlaps VERY easily. It’s also hard to apply and I had problems with it sticking to itself, which I did not have with another wallpaper I got from target as well, so it’s hard to say if it’s necessarily “operator flaw” All in all, I really do not recommend this product unless you’re covering a plain white space.

This product is terrible. Really difficult to apply. Lines don’t match up and it fell down almost immediately despite following the instructions. Contacted customer support to see about possible refund but nothing will do since it is “used”. Trash product. Do not buy.

Does NOT stick to painted walls. As I was putting it up using a squeegee snd following application instructions, it was peeling off the wall onto me.

So worth the $$$! A lot of reviews say the lot numbers make the pattern not match up perfectly. We had different lot numbers and any differences in the pattern are not noticeable to the naked eye. The trickiest part is smoothing out bubbles in the paper once applied. Take your time- hands work great, or even a credit card. No additional tools besides a blade to cut edges required!

Looks wonderful. It’s a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for with it. The product is easy to line up so it looks like wood. This is my second time purchasing it so I can put it on the front of our lori murphy bed. It looks great, has just enough texture, and stands up to cleaning and dusting.

This wallpaper is great! I was worried it would look too fake but everyone that comes in thinks it’s real. It has a slight texture to it. I also have had no issues with it sticking to my wall and I’ve had it up for two years now. I liked how it said low on the toxins as I didn’t think about other wallpapers and their chemicals. I liked this so much that we have started on the living room with it. It does take some getting used to putting it up. The technique that I find works best is letting gravity do its thing. Start at the top, pull about a foot of backing off, let the contact paper hang down onto the wall, then smooth it. Working little by little has helped me keep wrinkles out. Lining it up isn’t perfect, but unless you are staring at it super close you won’t notice. I used my hand to wipe out the bubbles.

This wallpaper is so pretty. It has a very pretty textured sheen up close. I saw some reviews that said it doesn’t line up but it just takes a little bit of effort to get it to work and it looks amazing afterwards. I ended up buying another roll to do more since I liked how it turned out so much.
